yea, thats what i did first, uninstalled 1.1, then installed 2.0 from the microsoft website version x86. and with same errors. then put 1.1 back directly from your link on the downlaod page leaving 2.0 still installed. -i''ll mess around some more with which .net version im using but i think i already tried every combo.

i would like to be able, if possible, to set a timer from the time a game sits idle or unplayed and to have it jump right into the screen saver, and when the next time i walk up to the machine it comes out of the screen saver directly back to the main list -in other words if i choose a game, play for a half n hour and walk away, instead of it staying on that game it will jump into the screen saver after the set time, and the next person to push any button will be taken directly to the entire list of games. -i guess it could decrease the chance of any burn-in the screens, i tend to leave my machine on 24 hours a day without thought. sound reasonable?

gameex recognizes as a clone for me, is your clones setting true?

i spoke too soon on my last fix, somehow it gave me version 5.48 so i uninstalled that. when i tried to reinstall 6.09 it gives me errors saying cannot delete files(code 5)....five files in particular 1)gameexconfig.exe 2)iterop.wmplib.dll 3) microsoft.directx.dirextinput.dll 4)dvdcore.dll 5)interop.dvdcore.dll -i cant remove them manually either, i get access denied. the config file that is left behind, shows up with 182 pages of words in the bar selections. im a registered user, but now have no gameex, help please! EDIT--(gameexconfig.exe was locked on in my processes. problem solved there but still cant get a more app&games button to appear after the new re-install!!)

anyways, so i ended up finally completly uninstalling gameex and reloading the latest version. without having to do anything else it reaapeared, im assuming the file was lost at some point!?

i have the config app in enable/disable set to yes, i tried no too,..ive tried other themes to see if it was just not appearing in the one i was using. i had it in the older versions, but havnt got it to reaappear in any of the last three updates. its probly very simple, what am i missing?? (i like this forum, ive been able to solve all my other problems thruogh it but this one........)
