  1. Howdy. I built a new PC but now that I'm going to reinstall all of the emulation stuff, I've discovered I don't have the actual file for GameEx. (I have the email in 1Password which talks about the file, but... not the file. Yes. I'm that good.) I wasn't able to find a location on the website to have it resent. What are my options? Not necessarily against repurchasing, if that's necessary. (Heck, if I'm being honest I would've already repurchased it but I'm avoiding wife aggro about my credit card.) Thanks!
  2. I'm a dumbass. When I first set the ROMs directory up, I created ..\NEC TurboGrafx-16. For some reason later I changed it to ..\NEC TurboGrafx. I _thought_ I changed GameEx to point to the new directory but I hadn't. It's odd that GameEx would continue to show me the cached contents of a directory that didn't exist, but I'm not complaining. Once I changed the directories I was good. Sorry to have wasted your time. (sigh)
  3. Thanks for the reply! GamesIn7Zips has been disabled, as well as MergeSets and RomsInFolders. The ROMs are dumped into one large directory right now, all PCE files. Still missing the ROMs, unfortunately. Here's another strange thing which is probably related: when I go to play a game which was presumed working (and have Debug turned on for the emulator) it's passing a Zip file to MagicEngine rather than a PCE -- when there are no Zip files in that directory now. EDIT: Also, I moved the ROMs to a local path rather than a mapped network drive so this caching - whatever it is - has withstood a complete move of the library. EDIT 2: I deleted the emulator and re-added it; no impact. I added a ROM filter to see if that would jar it into reinitalizing; no impact. Again, thanks for any help.
  4. OK, prerequisites. Emulator Export INI GameEx.ini removed because it made the post too long. Log File: RunLastGame not included because I'm not getting that far. Troubleshooting with Run Last Game not processed because I'm not getting that far. System: Windows 7, 64 bit, 32GB RAM, >1TB of drive space available on E: Registered copy of GameEx. Situation: First, to repeat, this is NOT MAME. I'm not looking for the Update List menu item. This is for the TurboGrafx-16 using the MagicEngine emulator. The emulator is fully functional outside of GameEx. However, inside GameEx I am not able to view all of the ROMs which I have. For instance, my list inside of GameEx begins with Air Zonk. In my ROMs directory there are 44 ROMs prior to Air Zonk alphabetically, 13 unique. Originally, the ROMs were GoodRenamed and GoodMerged but during my troubleshooting I have undone that operation, leaving 1,565 ROMs in the directory (with GameEx listing 94; not sure how many that includes when extended to over dumps, etc). Other emulators on my system appear to be functioning fine, without any of the inherent problems the TG16 is having. I would appreciate any advice or direction on how to proceed in order to resolve this issue. Thank you in advance for your time.
  5. *grin* Thanks. I mistakenly thought emumovies was.. well, movies.
  6. Most of the sites I've found with box art are single downloads, but if you're doing a full, new setup it'd be *really* nice to do a bulk download of box art. Does anyone know of a site that has this available?
  7. Intermittent is an understatement. I had it constantly so I was playing with settings to see if I could fix it through the driver. Tried changing font size, thought for a short bit that "always show toolbar" was the issue, tried anti aliased fonts on and off (off is uuuggggggllllllyyyy ), tried switching to 16 color mode, tried turning on Windows XP compatibility, changed menu transitions, advanced graphics, turned vsync on and off, reduced and increased CPU usage, wait or don't for blitting. Every time it seemed like the problem went away... only to resurface. Then I figured, well, I'll have to run it full screen. Went back and verified everything was set back to normal. Half an hour later... no glitches. This one's going to be fun to find. Could it have anything to do with the 59Hz refresh rate that some LCDs appear to have under Windows 7? I've read of some other strange problems that has caused. (Oh, and first post, really sweet front end, thank you, I will be registering. Just need to get clearance from the wife. )
