  1. I'd like to email directly, but I don't expect my individual support request to be answered. I also don't want possible paths to rip off this best ever front end posted here. I messed with hard drives in my cab. The drive letters have changed. I now get the nag screen again. I'd like to have my donation verified by my email address, and get this sorted out that way. I honestly don't remember what files were sent, though I think I have found the dll and an exe. Running the exe, doesn't seem to change anything. What should I do? Thanks.
  2. I also have Visual Pinball running. I also find the vpautos in the tray which disappear when you mouse over them. Does anyone else have the occasional table which closes and leaves you on the desktop? Gameex appears in the Task Manager, but doesn't come back up. I have to CTRL/ALT/DEL and kill it with the task manager then start it up again. Only some tables though. Additionally, I'd love to see GameEx get to a point where you can run it with "showdesktop=no"
  3. How do I create an advanced configuration file for u64emu (aka Killer Instinct)? I used the Visual Pinball one to send "Q" on exit to close visual pinball, but the v2.ini file was there. Can I write one or froce GameEx to write one for u64emu? It runs as a windows app. I have it running now as an emulator with the run as pc game option on...ie it only lists the first rom (which seems to successfully start the emulator). If I were to try and write one, what would I have to do to get game ex to see it? How does the file have to be named? If I copy another and modify it, will the controls and such at the end of the other file mess up running u64emu? Thanks again, in advance.
  4. Well, this shot is not running gameex. The bezel art is done now too. Sadly it still lives in the basement which will be finished this summer.

  6. When I downloaded the visual pinball tables I found a .dat file. I will have to look for it again. It may be the one used by or created by VPLauncher, which I'm not using now thanks to game-ex. Not being a programmer myself, I'm not sure if I'll be able to deterimine if it's in a useful format for game-ex. Do you know of this file? or would like to see it.? I'll see if I can attach it when I get home.
  7. I also find that I can't run Visual Pinball with ShowDesktop=No. I found that if I send "o" keystroke I can get by the TAF menu without seeing it, but when the tables load I get the pinmame window but no table, just blackness. I'm running Vusual Pinball as an emulator, under emulated games. I didn't use the visual pinball choice in the top drop down menu of the mulator config. I'm also running vpauto with it which nicely gets by the nag screens.
  8. I'm sure it's unrelated but I notice that the latests gameex doesn't exit as nicely as before. I escape out of game ex and it flashes back/desktop/black three or so times.
  9. I finally have visual pinball working, but I find that I browse to Emulated Games>Visual Pingall it generates a game list every time I am running a new game ex session. Additionally, on the left menu I don't have browse by name. If I choose to play a table, then escape out of the table, I end up back at the data sheet for that table, but in order to get to the list of all tables I have to use the main menu button on the top right. So to switch tables I have to navigate every time through Emulated Games>Visual Pinball>Table list. If you allow me to speculate wildly, I would guess that it's because there's no .ini file for the visual pinball tables. Is there a way to generate one? or find one online? Or something elese all together? What about a game list update? The only way I know how to do this is to start game ex from the command promt and use listupdate switch, but the website says this only updates the mame list. I'd also like to hide the create snaps button which does show up for visual pinball, but strangely not for anything else. I do have snaps for all my mame (actually videos) and for all my VP Tables. I'm in the process of getting vids for SNES. Though it may be faster to create my own snaps (not vids); except I don't have that option on the SNES page. Thanks in advance.
