same thing for me wierd stuff happening

since i updated to the latest gameex video files are just wierd it crashes and was the same with shark and k lite. also when going into the video folder it does the updating and takes ages to get in there i have no idea why

hey guys i dont often post (havnt had alot of time of late but...) posting to say i have the same issue i did read the entire thread so far and i have a dual core amd and a nvidia card and exactly the same issue after startup with gamex HOWEVER i have another issue when i play videos and then let one run back to the menu switch off my plasma then let it be awhile i come back rightclick back a menu select a new one and sometimes it will bluescreen the machine causing a total reboot NOW nothing has changed on my setup except for gameex updates and the shark codec pack ive checked my machine logs (not game ex) and found no info not even on the bluescreen as its so fast i cant even see what the bluescreen crash is saying before the reboot im at a loss on this one forgot to mention im using the standard animated theme (too lazy to make one at this point) oh and the forum lurker status suits my avatar pic so well dont you think? =p

lol figured it out the command line switch doesnt like to be in caps =p

actually my recently downloaded install wizard doesnt ask me to install iso support :/ FIXED

woopsy updated to the new gameex and cannot get it to see my iso's anymore :/

well LOL this made me kick myself cause if i set powerdvd to allways on top and full screen this works flawlessly sigh "C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDVD\PowerDVD.exe" [J:\VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.IFO] i forgot to add with anydvd and the automount of iso images by gameex that above works perfectly

G'day all im still rather new to gameex not new to the emulator scene I thought i would start a thread and try to help various people like myself and yes maybe i missed somthing like what im trying to do on the homepage or in another forum post BUT couldnt find it. So here goes what im going to do is list a few of my findings on the emulators and getting them to work inside gameex. Firstly My Fusion Command Line works perfectly with ESC exit and full screen (note change the full screen settings in the fusion INI) (FullScreen=1) 0 = off 1 = on Secondly Fusion.exe "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" ------------------------------------------------------------ Now For Zsnes zsnesw.exe -m "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" You'll notice the -m this disables the GUI so making it launch right from gameex and will use esc to exit ------------------------------------------------------------ thats actually all i have atm as im still orginizing my software hats off to TOM for the absolutely astounding work and all others who help and contribute ill post more here when i get more working and sorted. feel Free to add different command lines and switchs to help me out

im coming across all wrong tonight seriously my only excuse is a brain fart due to lack of sleep i know theres a requests thing yes i do and im just not functioning the way i should be

also just wondering would it be possible when using the custom menus feature to have it open the one you currently have setup? i made the mistake of not doing that first lol

the fastest man at a keyboard lol umm ok any plans to give it a more advanced feel? possibly some extra buttons i guess my main thing is im still setting up the HTPC and skipping through dvd's function seems somewhat shakey and doesnt skip very far a fast forward button and stop button would be extra cool maybe even a extra editor someplace to add your own buttons to the top of the theme? or am i way off track and this is allready possible?

well i had to rereg somehow my forum reg went all screwy well ive searched and searched and i cannot find anything about having more control over the inbult player settings ie DVD's or (i like power dvd yet cannot find any info on the net ANYWHERE for command line params.
