  1. Ok,I haven't totally figure it out but certain themes that I use behave similar. Sometimes no selections can be made with mouse but pointer works as stated. I tried changing the themes to see which were fine. I can't remember offhand which ones did this b/c im away right but it was just a handful. One crashed gameex continuously. Otherwise my trackball function function fully with making sure that "no, I want to use the mouse" setting as others mentioned in the post(this was always set by the way).I'm wondering if anyone has had any trouble with certain themes and their trackball not being fully functional. Either way im happy now that i can start enjoying by cab. Thanks for the responses. Icee
  2. Ok im a newbie, just built a 4-player cabinet over the summer. All connections made via Ipac-4. I have read other issues with people having trouble with their trackball. Trackball operates in windows find with mouse clicks/selections. After running gameex, mouse pointer displays but I can't make any selections with it within gameex. This would eliminate navigating with key board, besides who wants that. I've tried the following: 1. adding -mouse to command line in mame options 2. added mouse = 1 in mame.ini file I;m not sure what im overlooking but this is starting to be frustrating . Any help would be greatly appreciated .
