  1. I'll install the new version and try it again; I did make the change in BIOS that allows for "Keyboard startup," which was the only option even close, it still didn't work. However, with that change, I was able to map a keystroke combo to "power" within my IPAC software...and that worked, so this is ok for now. Ryan
  2. Hi all; I redid my machine with the most recent build as of this posting, but that was after having it sit for several months. The machine I built (I bought two licenses) is designed to have a hidden Operating System; the PC turns on with the main power switch for the cabinet and I had it set up so a keystroke combination would shut the PC down from inside Gameex. Now, with the new menus, I keep setting up the keystroke combination to shut down the PC in the "input" part of setup but it will not work. I am running an older IPAC 28 input keyboard emulator and it works fine for all other features of Gameex but that one. What am I missing? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Ryan

  4. Brian: Struggled with getting NullDC Naomi to work on my cab; tried your Loader and it worked like a charm; thanks!!! Somewhere in my searches for a Naomi solution over the last few weeks I saw that you posted additional scripting for the Nulldc.config that may fix my other Naomi problem: No two player keys. Can you link me to that posting again; I cannot find it. Thanks again for the great work!!! BadMojo6

    Genre Menus

Ok, thanks....I played around with Emulator Groups and I can see how I can create some special "emulators" for SF only and then combine those to get my list made, but is there a way that I can use a custom bak for that emulator group? BadMojo

    Genre Menus

Hello Gameex community: Been using Gameex for two builds and Love LOVE it; been getting used to using the .map files and other configuration tools but there is one thing that I don't know how to do: I built my cabs for me and a buddy because we love street fighter. I modified a .bak of the Valhalla theme in the hopes of putting ALL of the street fighter games under one menu. Problem is all of the games are spread across multiple platforms (e.g., Marvel vs. capcom 2 is best emulated with NullDC, SFIV with PC, etc.). I got as far as I could with FinalBurn Alpha, which emulates CPS1, 2 and 3 and NeoGeo (capcom vs. SNK), but I was hoping there is a way to combine different emulators under one list just like the "favorites" list. Yes, I know I can map different emulators to the Mame emulator used, but I don't want a dedicated Street fighter machine, just the ability to do a few custom menus based on genre, e.g., "Driving Games" with all the best games from the different emus would also be cool. I tried using Emumap but I think I am messing this up. Please help.... BadMojo6
