  1. No, no backups on this box. Nothing in the event logs. Its very odd.
  2. Both SSD drives checked out OK. No errors, no bad sectors. So why is PinballX eating its config files? For the record, I fixed that issue you pointed out with the /play -"[TABLEPATH]\[TABLEFILE]" last night, but apparently it didn't save? Wonder if the Windows defender exclusions got taken out by an update or something... hmm...
  3. I just ran chkdsk /R on the drives, let me check the result.
  4. Hey there, I've got a 3 screen setup and I'd had Pinball X setup and working great with Visual Pinball 10.6. I recently moved, so I broke the system down, moved it, then plugged everything back in. Visual Pinball works fine by itself. When I launch PinballX and try to start a table, this happens: 1) VP will not launch. It just hangs 2) the screen resolution for my backglass monitor in B2S gets changed to a lower resolution. 3) On next startup, Pinball X will launch in a very small window (not fullscreen). Relaunching it will sometimes fix this. 4) I've had Pinball X come up a couple of times with "0 Tables". Shutdown and relaunch PinballX corrects the issue. Of all the problems, why in the heck is the B2S screen resolution getting changed? Has this ever been reported before? PBX.7z
  5. 5 total on the front. Launch ball (enter) Coin in (5) Start Game (1) Extra Ball (2) Exit Table (q) Then a shifted function (esc) to quit the emulator.
  6. No worries. Just trying to figure this stuff out. In GameEx (on my arcade cabinet) there is a clear "enter system / exit system" functionality. Strange that its not the same in PinballX, which is basically doing the same thing, just with a different presentation. Maybe I'll do a feature request.
  7. So choose a system, then choose a game, then choose go back to systems. Not very intuitive - in fact I would expect most folks to never figure that out. Why would I try to start a game when my intent is to choose a different system? Thanks for the explanation though. And I guess if you have it set to not pull up the game menu and just launch it directly, you'd be stuck without ever getting the option.
  8. I can't seem to find this option. In settings - General Settings - Systems List - Show on startup = enabled When PinballX starts - it asks what system you'd like to select. In my case it would be Visual Pinball and Pinball FX3. Cool. Works perfect. Except once you choose one, there is no way to go back to choose a different system? You have to exit the frontend and reload. Is that correct? Is that intended? Logically allowing the [exit emulator] keybind to do this makes sense to me? The [quit] keybind just brings up the exit front end menu. thanks,
  9. Got it. thanks for the explanation.
  10. Does anyone know how this list is compiled? How to end it? For example - for MAME - Metal Slug games show the other Metal Slug games as "Games in Series" list. But for NES - Mega Man - it does not show the other Mega Man games in the series. Just curious. Thanks!
