Hiya I have problem with updating a mame stuff. Its strange but if im trying update my romsets [from 132 ] using v132 mame.exe im getting only about 4300 games. but if i use v135 mame.exe update and then v132 mame.exe im finally getting complete 8000 games [ which is right ]. Any ideas?

Plastic cover [ and buttons / joy aswell ] looks very-very cheap.

Any of You have this joypad? Is it worth to buy for GameEx?

Just put it in emulators as [ebook] FoxIt Reader, set the directories. ebook/pdf dir as ROMS dir..

Will remote controller be working with GameEx? If so, is there any restrictions about model that GameEx supports? Im really considering buy a Remote especially for GameEx Frontend. Maybe any of You using remote controler, that could be recomended for Win XP Home?

Of course i know about Language opts in Setup Wizard , but its not the real problem. Lets discuss a situation: you have hidden every know windows feature like winlogon / explorer and using only GameEx as a shell [ with no exit option = ON ]. When new Update popups you're downloading it and after restart you have all in ITALIAN . What you will do in that situation. Theres no easy task to close GameEx and run explorer or anything else to correct it in Setup wizard. Instead of this i wanted to create a small proggy that will be started on every succesfull update to auto-correct langauage settings to default installed by user. To do that i need to find a config file contains it [ or registry key ]. Any suggestions, Tom?

[bug] After crash and re-run GameEx will not see new dvd-* inserted in drive *- dvd inserted after 2nd loading GameEx, of course

Another annoying bug that drives me crazy since 1/2 year After update GameEx via gameEx Updater app returns to default ITALIAN LANGAUGE, and I was installed with ENGLISH. BTW. Where i can find config file for languages in gameex?

I found bug in Wizard 1.88 Ben Baker's Wizard always ignores last choice in CUSTOM MODE. Example: use only one choice and click Tweaks/Performance OR click emulator setup in custom mode. You'll be forwarded instantly to verify setup after clicking NEXT [ and not to the tweaks or emulator setup ].

v0.02 - added skin - click on app [everywhere] minimize it - removed info / debug information. v0.03 - Now app exits when GameEx install will not be found - click on appname -> info about author - click on applogo -> close app - click everywhere else -> minimize app - added HintInfo btw. for clearing: App checking GameEx installation by searching HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\gameex\installLocation key if not exist app will exit. App: GameEx Crash Guard Info: GameEx Crash Guard running minimized and checking every 1 minute is Gameex running if NOT it will autorun it. Why: Because i completely turn my laptop into media center [ with hiding every login / exit screen / gameex shell=on and mouse hide=on, you know what i mean ] i was forced to create this tiny app to prevent manual reseting my laptop everytime gameex crashes [ sometime it happens ] http://rapidshare.com/files/279143259/GameExCrashGuard_v0_01.exe.html BTW. If you put this tiny app in autostart it will start everytime when windows starts.

Yes its only happens when ROMDIR points directly to the ROOT of DVD Drive [ i dont remebner which version but few version back GameEx supports romdir -> cd/dvd root drive with no problems]. I think GameEx 10.00 runs everything ok.. Do we have solution for this?

I ve tried new version on gameex but i see there are some problems with running roms when roms are set up as [drive letter] dvd. If my roms folder points directly to the dvd drive i cant run roms from there [when i try to run a romfile noting happens [even gameex dont tries to run file] and going back to the menu]. Hiya I came up with idea to create a IE replacement for GameEx [ GX uses IE rendering engine for webpages [ and i hate it really ] ]. I thought it'll be very cool to make a slightly different alternative, and i started this yesterday. Today i've made a quick video how the browser looks like [ currently like crap, because it is in skinless mode ]. On video i've show how it will be navigate / typing in links in GamePadBrowser.
