  1. Did you try running the test program on the X-Arcade site? This will show if the device is responding correctly. I ran the test to be sure mine is working, then ran MAME... press Tab to open config screen and configure the controls.
  2. Thanks! I didn't think about the trackball/mouse. I guess I can use that. Would be nice if I can hit a few buttons like real slots (and video poker), but this works. Going to buy a copy!
  3. These look pretty cool... thanks for letting me/us know. I have to ask a couple of questions... 1. which one is better? Is it just the slots that are different between the 2 packages? 2. I have the X-Arcade stick on my GameEx machine... can you program the buttons so that it plays like slots (without using mouse, etc)
  4. Howdy... Here's my log. I recently played Puck-Man, and it shows another MAME game a played several days ago... it seems to be stuck on that image. I am going to try a few more tests with other non-MAME games, and will post an update. log.txt Update: I then ran Atari 2600 Mini Golf, and the text shows correctly, but there was no image at all. I then re-ran MAME Puck-Man, and text was ok, but also no image either. Thanks!
  5. Play a game of Pac-Man on Saturday... Pac-Man's 30th Birthday
  6. I guess I should give more detail since my tag is changing. First time: Last Played = Centipede, but Missile Command graphi was showing. Second time: Last Played = Breakout, but no graphic was displayed. Is there something I need to do to make this work correctly? I love this feature!
  7. Any idea why the screen shot in my gamertag does not match up with the game I last played? FYI: I did play Missile Command before Centepede.
  8. Thanks Tom... I got it working by including an earlier ROM set and running that. I am not sure why this happened, since it was running fine previously.... but as long as it is working I am happy!
  9. Wow, fast reply! Thanks Tom. Here is the log file. The game does not run when I choose Run Last Game from the start menu. I get a popup with a list of files not found. The standard popup from MAME. What is strange is that MAME thinks the rom set is 1942a (1942 Revision A), when I have the rom set named as 1942, which is Revision B... althought I can load it via MAME, just not GameEx. Wierd. Thanks for your help! log.txt
  10. Hi all... Running the latest version of GameEx and version 0.131 of MAME. Ever since the GameEx upgrade, I cannot run the game 1942. I can run it via MAMEUI fine. If I try to run it via GameEx, I hear a few dings and it returns to the MAME game list. Any ideas? I previously could load this game. All other games seem to load fine as well. thanks
  11. Looks like there is a u3 version released, although the mame site states that there will be a 0.132 released shortly.
  12. I'll answer my own question... Another go-through in the NES configuration of GameEX and I removed the "%[Enter]" keypress sent after the games loads. Thanks anyway!
  13. Hi all... How do you get NEStopia to load games in full screen through GameEx? WHen I run NEStopia on its own, the games are loaded in full screen, so I belevie I have the settigns correct on that end, but when GameEx launches NES games, it loaded in full screen, then instantly resizes to a very small window. Any ideas? thanks!
  14. Ok, here's my cab. Took me about 2 months of weekends, on and off. I think the major accomplishments were the fact that I never built anything from wood before, so I didn't expect much. Also, I didn't have a lot of tools and built this thing using some battery powered hand tools (saw, screw driver, drill).... that's it. It came out much better than I though it would. No side art yet, but that will arrive shortly.
