  1. Thank you Tom. The problem with hideos only occurs to be after exiting game ex. So no biggie. Another thing I found: If I lock to a emulator group, only Mame will work. The other emulators I set up won't boot. Thank you again!
  2. Hi there, updated the first time in quite some time and some of the new features are really welcome. Thank you for your continuous support on GameEx! I now have created a Emulatorlist, works totally as expected. Unfortunately any Mame game shoes "View Controls" before launching the game, usually with wrong information. I would rather deactivate that feature. Is there a way? I couldn't find it. Another thing I was wondering about is if I can launch directly into my Emulator list, but without cutting all the other features with the "lock" option? Also HideOS seems to be on every launch even though I deactivated it, sometimes hiding GameEx Arcade? Sorry for all the questions, didn't want to clutter the forum. Again thank you very much! Olli
  3. Thank you, I did request that some time ago. Thank you again Olli
  4. Thank you very much. I tried CustomLists but I have a feeling this doesn't work with GameEx Arcade. Mame CMD works like this: mame64 pce [rom] mame64 pcecd [rom] mame64 tg16 [rom] That requires three different lists for the same system. Not very nice. I try to make my lists as accessible as possible. Problem is as soon as I add PCE it will also put my Arcade games yet into another subfolder (arcade), which is then also subdivided into the different systems.
  5. Hi I'm using Mame to play PCE and PCE CD games and they launch fine from GameEx Arcade. I was wondering if someone managed to put both "Systems" into one list. Mame uses different commands to launch either PCE or PCE CD so I had trouble turning my head around it. Any help is appreciated, Olli
  6. Here is a video: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ummmyr36kxrw9ag/2020-07-22 14.22.01.mp4?dl=0 Happening on all my gameex machines. Using groovymame, crtemudriver for the real deal.
  7. Hi Whenever I launch a rom or exit it, there is a little minimized window in the lower left corner. Is this by design or is there a way to hide it?
  8. I didn't think that a 0.001 version difference would be a problem, but yeah, it was Thanks!
  9. Okay nevermind. I did an update to a 0.221 set. I would be nice if the dependency on the very latest set wouldn't be so high, if that's even possible. Most of the time barely anything in the set changes. Best regards and sorry for the the fuzz.
  10. Hi again, Tom discovered the problem with the Mame list showing every game and it was solved with the latest update. Now my Neo Geo games (except for two: irritating maze and Kizuna Encounter) are not being detected. The set is a up to date 0.220 Set. Should be fine I think. Attached you find the files to check if something is wrong on my end. GameEx.ini log.txt
  11. GameEx is the best frontend for me, having it on 3 cabinets. It's so close to being perfect. There is just a couple of small things that I would wish for: - option to remove search function - option to remove genre menu - boot directly into chosen games list - screensaver/attract features from gameex full so I can set it to video only - hide little window bar on game start in the left bottom corner I understand that GameEx Arcade is supposed to be simple but I don't think that my requests add a lot of complexity and could all be part of the feature options in setup. I'll would gladly donate for the consideration of my requests. Thank you for this great frontend Olli
  12. Great! As of now I'm using Model 2 as it's own emulator to have access to command line. Thank you for reacting so fast on this. It's very very much appreciated.
  13. This was how the problem actually came up. Thank you for looking at this!
