  1. I like the look. Clean and simple. It might be my imagination, but it seems to load faster as well.
  2. I buy nearly all my games through Steam. On the rare occasion Steam doesn't have the game, I buy through Direct2Drive. Right now I'm playing through Borderlands with a few friends. Such a fun, fun game.
  3. I haven't used it first hand, but VMware Fusion allows for virtualization of Windows applications inside of OSX with hardware video acceleration. In fact, I vaguely remember seeing screen shots of popular modern games running with it. Might be worth a look-see.
  4. I moved the files off my desktop and to my D: drive and they convert correctly now. How strange is that?
  5. I tested converting some MP3s to WMA and it worked great (fast too!). UAC is disabled on this PC, and I'm also a local administrator. What else to try?
  6. Windows Vista 64-bit. Maybe it's not 64-bit compatible? That's a bummer.
  7. Absolutely! Some examples attached. tforce4.7z
  8. I tried converting a folder full of Sega Genesis (GYM) music files, but it fails on 100% of them. Am I doing something wrong? I tried converting them to MP3, then WMA. Is there a diagnostic log somewhere that I could examine?
  9. Söldner-X: Himmelsstürmer is a great side-scroller for an arcade setup. It's especially awesome if you have a 720p widescreen display. http://www.soldner-x.com/ You can find it for $10 many places. Note that you have to sendkeys an 'S' when the game starts to bypass a little loader box.
  10. does not want to update his status.

  11. Yes, you fixed it. Thanks!
  12. I got this error while trying to add a small image to my signature. It doesn't really tell me all that much: An Error Occurred [#10211] You may only use up to images in your signature. You may only use up to lines of text in your signature. This image is larger than the maximum allowed dimensions of x. Color me confused.
  13. This is a bug of sorts on how ZSNES handles saves. ZSNES writes the save file when the program is exited, not when the save file is actually modified. The problem is, by default, GameEx ends the process directly and ZSNES never writes the file. Luckily GameEx is flexible enough where this can be fixed! I'm not at my GameEx PC right now, so I dont' know the terminoligy exactly, but somewhere in the emulator setting you can change how it quits a program. You need to change it from 'End Process' to 'Press ALT+F4'. Do that and this problem you are having will be no more.
  14. If you're playing for CD images, you have to stop emulation and load the next CD image to switch disks. Most, if not all, games offer a save right at the point of switching disks. Save, go back to GameEx, select next disk, load saved game. If you change file names, and GameEx doesn't automatically refresh the database, you'll have to do it manually. You can do that in the advanced settings application. As for cleaning up the names, check the settings for options to hide extraneous characters such as underscores, the file extension, etc. I believe there is also be a PSX game database included with GameEx that has not only names, but descriptions. You can attempt to use this database by selecting it in the emulator options, but I think it will require your CD image files to have very specific names. Unfortunately I don't have any experience with this particular database.
  15. Most modern versions of Windows come with a built in touch-screen compatible on-screen keyboard. Try clicking Start -> Run, type in osk.exe and click OK. As for brining it up on command from a game, you'd have to program some sort of hotkey or something. It could be done I think.
