  1. Here are a few pics of my latest cabinet and my boys playing it!!!
  2. How do I change a button in GameEx? The button that controls the volume needs to be changed to key "J" to fit my IPAC. How do I do this? I cannot find anything in the help files and I cannot find any other posts. HELP!!! Thanks Castcreator
  3. Tom, last night I was so fustrated with what is going on that I finally deleted GameEx and reinstalled it in another directory. I tried the volume again and it seemed to be correct and tonight I will try the karaoke. Funny thing it is, and what is even odder is is that I have nothing on my arcade machine except arcade related stuff. I will test tonight and post what has happened after. Thanks for all of your time and help.
  4. In Mame only and in a game, when I press the ~ button, volume is listed as 0db. When I run the same game through GameEx and I press the ~ button, volume is listed as -32db. This is why I assumed the error is in GameEx and not Mame itself.
  5. VERY COOL!!!! THANK YOU!!!
  6. I agree on the "Ladies" part. Yes I am still having the karaoke issues but still cannot figure out the printscreen thing. When I click printscreen in GameEx nothing happens and there is no pointer to right click with. Is this were you are talking about pressing the printscreen button? With no mouse pointer it makes it hard to right click. Thanks
  7. In the audio setting in mame my volume is listed as 0. When I run a game in Mame outside of GameEx the audio is fine. It is only when I run a game in GameEx that the volume is low.
  8. i put in: cd/mame mame -vol 0 nothing happens.... I even deleted the mame configuration settings file and and created a new one and still the same thing. When I run GameEx it sets vol to -32

  10. I'm still having volume issues. I did some tests. I installed the newest version of Mame, version 0104b. When I run a game in Mame from a command prompt I get the loud sounds from my games. When I run the same game through GameEx the sound of the same game is considerably lower even when my GameEx menu volume is high. The clicking and menu select sound is 4 to 5 times louder than the mame games. Any help with this matter is HIGHLY appreciated!!!!!!! 11. Ok, I made some changes and here's what happened. I made a menu change to use flat menus. So everything is listed on the main frontend page. I have several applications listed on GameEx one in particular, Arcade Jukebox 8. Karaoke is listed just below it in my list. When I go into karaoke now play a song and back out of it, both the Arcade Jukebox 8 and Karaoke are no longer on my list. I cannot see them nor can I move into the spot where they used to be. I checked my log and it looks fine, if you like I can post it. On taking a snapshot, when I get that page I want to take a picture of, I pushed the printscreen button but nothing happened. Any other suggestions?
  12. I'm having volume issues with version 5.77. My frontend volume is ALOT louder than MAME. I have version 0103b and the main volume is set to 0. If I turn down the volume in the frontend, it reduces the sound in MAME as well. Any suggestions and is anyone else having this issue?
  13. Hi Tom, I found another issue with the karaoke player. "My wife likes this new function, that's why I seem to be in it so much!!" In the "click to play" mode I found that if you go out of karaoke and out of multimedia and then try to return to the karaoke, there is nothing listed in the multimedia folder. The only way to correct this is to do a software restart. You asked for a snapshot of the screen when this happens. Is there somewhere posted an explanation of the how to create a snapshot? I'll send you one. Thanks!!!!
  14. Hello!!! The Karaoke is a fun choice to add to this arcade software except is has an issue. When backing out of the Karaoke and into multimedia, all icons, and text has disappeared. When you move forward again, everthing is still invisible although you can select choices by hitting the appropriate button!!! Anyone finding this error? Tom keep up the good work!!! This software is move along nicely. I can't wait to see where you go with it next!!!
  15. For the control panel viewer, is ther a way to add weither or not a game requires a 2way, 4way or 8way joystick? I have a 4way/8way joystick and it is hard to remember which games (of 6000) use a 4way joystick!!!
  16. So Tom, Is there a way to add a game like pacman which is a clone to the original mame game list? Maybe this could could be a new feature!!! Instead of just an option to delete a game from a list you could also have a choice to move it to another list or copy it to another list. I know I like the original mame game list because it simplifies the number of game versions on that list.
  17. Is there a way to add or remove games from these lists manually?
  18. I found that if I turn off the video then the back page works just fine. But why does it not work with the video playing in the background?
  19. I finally got VPinMame running on GameEx and I created snaps for the games I have. That is how I found this bug. First I am running the Tron theme. Everything is fine when I run a game in VPinMame. When I back out of the game and into GameEx the first screen I get is the screen where it says "play this game" and add to favorites." On that screen the Tron video is running in the background. If I back up one more time, the background video disappears and I am left with an out of sync blue fuzzy screen. The blue happens to be the color of my background in windows XP. It does this every time. I even changed the background image for my desktop but it does the same thing. Any suggestions?
  20. Hello. I'm having issues viewing my snaps for VPinMame. I have the directory set for it but nothing shows up. I have images in png. and jpg. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  21. Hello. I would like some info on hiding the VPinMame editor when running a table on VPinMame. The game will run but I have to manually close the editor. Anyone figured this out yet?
  22. Yes but once you select a theme you can no longer go back and the back button is no longer functional. In my theme for GameEx all windows looking icon buttons are removed.
  23. Well I was hoping I could hit the space bar (on my test machine) to go back like I do for any other screen.
  24. It is in the Default Folder "More Games and Programs"
