I just downloaded the newest version of GameEx and everything is fine, all themes work except for the Deep Purple theme. It works fine on its own, i have it staying in GameEx now but no picture or sound, i'm sure i will get it from here. Thanks guys.

That debug got rid of the dos screen but im still getting kicked to windows and GameEx has ended. Mame was so easy to configure, whats up with these console emu problems. Ill have to not use GameEx for console emu. Thanks for your time matt.

I have a problem with the N64 emulater project 64 and GameEx, GameEx is seeing the roms but when i try to run a game in GameEx i get diverted to windows and a dos screen appears saying among other things "pause hit any key to continue" i get a few flashing screens and get taken back to GameEx and the selection screen again. I'm not sure what else to try, i have the settings set to full screen and cant seem to get it to work,i'm not getting a GameEX error screen but a dos "echo on" and a "pause hit any key to continue" command. I'm sure someone can help, thanks.

I understand this is a GameEx forum, but theres only so long i can talk about GE, why isnt there any other topics avalable like, topics on certain mame games, maybe pc hardware, theres many ideas to be had. Im not sure if your(tom) interested in having a all in one forum but it might be a good idea for you and us. Just a thought to have a online like community.

Im not sure if they have a stand or not, you should check out there site for more info. I would just make a stand if they dont have one, youd be able to customize it to fit your needs perfectly, hight , size , maybe make it fold away for easy storage when not in use.

Tom, what are some ideas that you have for GameEx that are many revisions away, are there features you cant quiet implement yet , or do you take advise as you go and even you arent sure whats very far into the future for this frontend.

Anyone have an ipac for trade, i have many things to offer , pc games, pcbs , game consoles etc.

Some roms need me to change the resolution in mame , otherwise the game runs alittle high on the screen , ive changed the resoulution in mame and it fixes the problem but it wont translate to GameEx , any ideas.

Well i really didnt need a frontend on my pc the only emulater i run is mame .and i could just run it from it self, but i like all the features on GameEx it was very easy to configure , i also like the layout more then most frontends , i wish you good luck with everything and it can only get better. -tommy-

When i leave GameEx running listening to music it starts running threw all the games demo modes and the music stops. Im not sure if im missing a setting somewhere but i havent seen it. thanks

Just wanted to start a thread for those who have had no problems with this frontend , also here we can make fun of those who are having trouble

When i adjust and then save new settings in the config menu , after i press save. all the options on the bottom (prev page ,next page , save) get out of wack , the graphic seems to get all messed up until the save is done , besides that im enjoying this frontend.

GameEx will work will more then one versoin of mame32 , just make sure the version of mame that you want to use recognizes your roms first, then change the GameEx exe rom path to that specifc mame version.

I had a problem finding roms in GameEx , i had 3 different versions of mame on my computer and i put the wrong version on the exe section , i didnt have a problem from the start but i changed a few things and didnt realize i changed whitch mame version to be recognized, just a thought.
