I'm creating a modified theme and swapped out the media.png image with a new one. The width is fine, but the image is being squished vertically. Are there width and height parameters I need to enter somewhere?

I changed the info in the StartEMU= section of my INI but it still shows the default text. I used the GameEx config interface with the same results. Can anyone else duplicate this problem?

Here is my Xybots MAME cabinet running GameEx. I posted PNG and PSD versions of the yellow GameEx instruction card you see on the control panel here.

Here is the GameEx instruction card I created for my Xybots MAME cabinet. It uses iconography to show how the GameEx controls work (I'm using an IPAC). Example: Holding down the red button and moving the joystick right moves to next letter of alphabet in a list of games. I've included the Photoshop file so you can modify for your own needs. Dug out the old Odyssey 2 and created a console pic for the GameEx default theme. Wasn't sure what size to make it so went large. Enjoy!

Just wanted to give you some feedback. I'm not sure "create snaps with resuming" is intuitive enough for non technical gamex newbies like me. I was looking for something in the settings like... create snaps: - replace all existing snaps - only create snap if snap does not exist I think the whole thread thing threw me off. Just wanted to share my initial experience... you know... in case you decide to create Gamex for Dummies

I was hoping to be able to do it on the fly so instead of snagging a bunch of start screens that stay in place like on some of the emulated consoles, I could snag screens of games in action. That would be a really nice feature

The GameEx documentation says that the Create Snaps key combination is ALT+1 or Button 3 + Player 1 Start button. I have an IPAC, but when I hit that key combination during game play nothing happens. Can I not take a snap of an individual game? I'm only missing a couple snaps so I don't want to create snaps for all.

RE: Q: How do I not show Adult Games. A: Under MAME Update settings, make sure to set No Adult games, under Enable/Disable turn off Show Adult games. Then update the list. Maybe I'm blind, but I can't seem to find the MAME Update settings. Where can I find this menu? I want the Adult Games to show up but currently they are not. Once I get all my emulators working under this I promise I'll donate!
