Tom - Did you happen to catch anything yet? I can't seem to find anything causing it to do what it is doing. On my tankstick, I only use the joystick directional, select, back and esc keys while in gameex. So far, the only key which seems to work for me is the esc key. With this said, I can use the track ball as a mouse, but what I have noticed is that when I highlight one of the menu items, it automatically scrolls back up, regardless of what menu I'm in... almost as if its stuck in the up position. I can post a video if it will help clarify my issue.

Sorry about that long post guys, I was thinking it may have been a long post Interesting thing, I have two custominput.ini files? I did a search within the GameEx directory and found the attached two files. One with a date of 6/16/08 and one with a date from yesterday (when the problem occurred) I'm thinking this may just be a simple fix where I delete one of the .ini files, but its weird because I haven't made any changes to my configuration in quite some time... BK- Yes I am using custom inputs, but not using joysticks... I should clarify this a bit more guys, when I mean joystick, I'm talking about my tankstick joysticks and what not. I can tap a button during the intro to bypass it, but any movement within me menu's is non existent, with the exception of the button I have routed for escape. I have verified they are working in notepad... **EDIT** Rechecked, and it appears that the 2nd customconfig.ini was from backup I did last year, so Gameex should be looking at only one file. ALSO Tom, I think you just implemented another update today and now it plays about a second of my intro video and then goes right into the main menu. Custominput.zip

New update... joystick no longer working. Verified configuration and nothing has changed yet I have no movement in Gameex. Something to do with 10.01

Thanks for the update Tom. Can I assume that the fourth item: "Fixes issue where games do not match on game info page" was referring to the issues that some people were having with Scumm? If it was, I'm still having the same issues I have added a few games to the database, but I think that may be irrelevant considering it worked fine in the past. It's hard to describe the issue, but if you want, I can take a video of it and send to you.

I'm not quite sure, haven't spent much more than the initial 30 minutes on this last week, but will have to give it a shot this week. Just curious as to why it would have changed all of a sudden. But you may be right regarding the read only properties, but did the actual database change last update? For some reason, I don' t think the database is the actual problem.

A bit off topic but I great program to take amazing video and snaps is fraps (http://www.fraps.com/). I have too many systems on my arcade which are not yet available at emumovies, especially @ 640x480. In addition to this, I have my cabinet set up to show the video preview in the background so anything less than 640x480 just looks bad. For me, recording 640x480 video and having higher res titles is awesome. The only downside to this is that after to take a screen shot, you would have to go back and rename the file to match the game, minor inconvenience if you ask me. If you don't mind forking over $38 for the registered version, I would highly recommend it.

Holy crap... I thought I was the only one having that problem! I love gameex but when you do the updates, sooner or later things that were working great no longer work so great. A prime example was with being able to unzip cd images and mount them back around the 9.7 time frame. I know this problem has been fixed but it wasn't until I spent hours unzipping them manually. Back on topic though, I've noticed the same problem. One or two games match properly, but I would say a good portion of them are off, and its not a set amount off. Example would be choosing a game, i.e. monkey, once selected, it would show the game listed 2 below that in the database. Choose a different game and it would display the game 5 spots below that. I'm not sure if I'm doing a good job explaining this... I disabled the database, and the selected games work as they should (with the exception of game information), but after 30 minutes of pure frustration, I've given up on trying to figure out the problem. This is a recent issue as I know the last time I used Scumm was probably around the 10 or 10.02 release. I'll post a config when I get home but nothing has changed in my configuration, so I really think it has to do with the database or something with the programming? I've had some head scratchers in the past year, but this one is one of strangest yet.

What about Alt+Enter?

Been a registered member for quite some time... Is no one else having this issue? I can't find anything wrong with this config
