you should be able to get new task and run explorer.exe from task manager. or you can configure gameex to run explore.exe on exit (thats what I do). when configured like that, when you exit gameex, it will bring you out into my docs or my computer (something like that) and you should be able to access everything from there.

I have noticed the karaoke plugin will support .kar karaoke files. If i click them with out gameex running they play fine in windows media player (words and music). However gameex does not regonize/support them as a karaoke file type. Tom can we get this file type added? Thanks. And karaoke was a great addition.

Tom I have noticed, when I first boot into gameex, and if I dont go into any sub menus, I just leave it completely alone, the scrren saver will work. But If I go into a menu or play a game, from that point on the screen saver will not work. I will try the exe above and let you know. Thanks in advance for the help and thanks for a GREAT product. jeff

I am having the same problem. I currently have game ex 5.34, I am going mto try to upgrade and see if that fixes it. I also am using instant sheller. I am going to stop using instant sheller and see if the screen saver starts working. jeff

That would be an awesome new feature!!! The customization possibilities would be endless. (Favorited sega games, favorite games from 1983, favorite NES games, party games, fighting games, etc). Tom -- we need that feature!!! By the way -- Great product!!!

Just to clarify, I did disable/bypass the warnings and it still does not work correctly.

Same problem for me. bobross are you using instant sheller to hide everything? I upgraded from 5.25 and used instant sheller and that is when I lost the attract/screensaver fuctionality. I am not certain if it is related to one or the other or both.

I am seeing the same issue. I upgraded from 5.25 to 5.31 and used your sheller program to hide everything. Since then the screensaver does the exact thing user boboss does. I will try the bypass setting as well. Tom --thanks for a great product!! Jeff
