  1. I too wish for this functionallity. Not even MKV files, but i have an XVID AVI which has two audio tracks. GameEx always picks the 2nd which is talking. This forces me to close down GameEx and manually launch mplayerclassic which has an interface to change the active track. Full MKV support would be awesome too. Please get this functionallity. Thanks.
  2. Cool I'll try all these suggestions Thanks guys!
  3. I believe that is turned off. I was having issues with that originally when I bought it. But, why would it be fine after installing a driver then after usage over a period of weeks, slow down? I'll double check the setting though, where is it located?
  4. Well. I downloaded Omega and used them. Seemed much better, but it was slow again. So I uninstalled those and installed retail ones. I also adjusted the resolution down to 720p size. This was great. Ran perfect. But now, after a week or so of usage, it's super slow again. It's like overtime it just slows down. Rebooting does nothing. Ideas? The bigger the list, the slower it operates. But even like 4 items (directory) runs visibly slow. 10 items, you have to click, pause, click, pause to move down the list.
  5. I have a really good machine. 4 gig and a medium-high speed dual core. I had a 8600GT 256 meg video card and I swapped it out for a 6600 128-meg card. This card runs games really well but for some reason, GameEx is extremely slow. VERY slow. Is there something I can do? I didn't uninstall the existing video driver, but just installed a later one (latest one from nvidia). Is there anything I can do? Video runs great and so do games.
  6. No need. I just did a test. I made two BAT files, test1 and test2 test1.bat ECHO this is test1 1st test2.bat ECHO this is test1 2nd test2.bat ECHO this is test2 Once test2.bat is called from test1.bat it stops. Must be limitation of the BAT file. Maybe .CMD would be better, it doesn't have the limitation. I'll just change my BAT over to VBS to fix my issue for now.
  7. Thanks for the quick reply, your support is awesome Ok I found the bat. My pre action is running first which is another bat which runs an EXE (I was having issues with gameex formtting the command line) and for some reason the bat stops there. After executing the line it wont go on to the mame stuff and just exits out. Unsure why??
  8. I couldn't figure out why mame wasn't launching via gameex (Screensaver or normal game play) it would just go black then come back to gameex. I decided to look for a log file, and found one. It says it's running: cmd.exe /c c: c:\...path to my mame exe ROMFILE OTHERCMDLINES I've verfied my config, there is NO c: c:\ in it. And the other parts of the log where it reads out where the mame dir and mame exe are located point to the correct locations. any ideas how to fix this?
  9. Yahhhh that worked! Thanks :) I must have turned that on some how but I don't know why I would have.
  10. 11. That didn't seem to help. The program didn't recreate the files either. I was a bit confused by your terms since the GameEx\Data\Emulators has MDB files and the GameEx\Map Files has actual MAP files but that isn't he DATA dir. Either way I tried deleting both the MDB and MAP file for SNES stuff.
  12. I enabled and setup the Super Nintendo (#2 in the emu wizard list) emu in the wizard but when I navigate to SNES in GameEX it says I have 0 games while I have lots. I've tripple checked the path is correct to the roms. I ran the Verify Setup in the wizard and it doesn't state any problems. I unzipped all the roms also. And I even just trimmed it down to a single rom and I still don't get anything. Is this a known issue? What information can I provide to help you triage my problem. I also changed the filter to *.*, *.zip (before I extracted them), and no value (blank) Path to roms: C:\Roms\SNES Emu path: C:\Emulators\ZSNES\zsnesw.exe
  13. Thanks for the tip. Are you talking about just the side ones when it's a verticle game? I do love the bottom area that displays the game name year and logo during screensaver mode, I just need it to swap from bottom to top each game. Is it possible to get this on a list of possible features?
  14. I don't like how the screensaver that plays mame stuff displays the information about the rom, and the GameEx logo and text at the bottom of the screen constantly. It would be great if this would flip back and forth from the bottom and top of the screen each time a game changes. Along those same lines, the vertical games have the Mame\GameEx logo on the left\right of the screen when it is playing, I would like that to go away too. Are there options to do this already?
  15. I found out how to disable it. It was in the tweaks section of advanced config (not the wizard) Awesome....
