  1. I know you can set up the recorded to record a third screen DMD. Does anyone know if can be setup to record info on a real PinDMD? If so, what values should I put into my screenres.txt file for location and dimensions?
  2. RESOLVED - I had swapped the positions of the playfield and backglass monitor in the Windows layout. That messed up offsets even though monitors were labeled correctly. Backglass monitor has to be positioned to the right of the backglass monitor in the layout..
  3. Will try Thursday when I get back home. Two monitors in windows both 1920x1080 and both indicate extend display. Playfield is monitor 1 and backglass is monitor two.
  4. Help - I have been using PBXRecorder to create table and background videos for PinballX for all of my tables. I have 140 working tables. Recently did some updates and for some reason the recorder no longer records my backglass. Tables work fine via VPX or started via PinballX but I wnat to get my menu looking nice and not with a missing backglass. I have included INI amd LOG files along with a Screenres.txt from my VP/Tables directory. I have a 2 display system with a Pin DMD. I also made sure backglass and playfield were selected for reconding in PBXRecorder. Any help would be appreciated. PBXrecorder.ini PBXrecorder.log ScreenRes.txt
  5. Thanks - already tried the sec / scannow solution with no success. I can live with it.
  6. Mike - adding the rom name in the database was the ticket to having pinMame display Rom information during menu. Works like a champ and enables me to use the hide DMD option as I desire. I wonder if reinstalling PinballX will clear my flash.occ/ dwmapi.dll issue. But hate to do a reinstall with things working so well. Thanks for your help. I am really pleased with my setup now.
  7. No spare. Running windows 7. It’s annoying because it is very sporadic and does not seem to harm anything except make me keep a mouse nearby to acknowledge. I am still having issue getting my pinDMD to display rom info from pinMame during front-end table selection. I can display a video if I put one in my Real colored DMD video directory. Otherwise the default PinballX video screen shows. Tables run fine once selected.
  8. I recently installed the latest versions of Visual Pinball and Pinballx along with FlexDMD and Freezy's DMD. I have 140 table working well with the exception of an occasional popup indicating an entry point for DmwRenderGester could not be found in dwmapi.dll. I also occasionally get a message indicating Flash.ocx could not be registered. I included screen copies of the error popups as attachments. If i ignore the messages thigns work fine with the exception of only being able to view the default PinballX screen on my PinDMD when in front end selection mods (probably a setup I have messed up but I haven't figured out yet. My PinballX.ini and log files are enclosed also. I have tried reregistering the Flash.ocx and the dwmapi.dll with no success. Thought about reinstalling PinballX but didn't want to mess anything up worse. Any advice would be appreciated. PinballX.ini log.txt
  9. That makes sense. That brings up some questions. How do you make DMD files? I have no idea how they got there. Secondly, what is the benefit of using pinMame in PinballX. Please forgive the questions - I am just trying to learn. I am really happy with my overall setup with 139 working tables. Just trying to clean things up a little.
  10. made a quick stop to get INI file - Have some media files in colored DMD directory and a few in images but dont have time til Friday to compare with what shows when in PinballX menu. Thanks for you support PinballX.ini
  11. Out of town - will check Friday
  12. I have a 2 display plus PinDMD cabinet setup. I recently installed Freezy DMD and Flex DMD upgrades and have several colorized ROM enabled. When PinballX is running, most of the time the PINBALLX text default is showing on the PINDMD. A few tables have the games DMD showing on the game PinMD instead of the PinballX default. I am confused as to what DLLs need to be in the PinballX directory in order to prioritize showing game DMD images while going through the PINBALLX menu. I have searched various forums and some say I need to rename PinDMD.dll so it is no used and I need to copy DmdDevice, dll and DmdDEvice.ini to the PinballX directory also. What about FlexDMD.dll and FlexUDMD.dll? Can someone please clarify what I need to do to enable game DMD images/text to show on PinDMD while in PinballX. All games launch and work fine but I would like to understand why some tables' DMD show on PinDMD during table selection while others just show default PINBALLX screen.
  13. Thank you all for your help!!!!
  14. You were correct. Changing that setting worked great.
