Care to post screenshots of where I turn it off? As mentioned before, i'm pretty sure i've already switched everthing off and the emails i'm getting are new topics that I have never replied to

I'm glad its not just me would thought it was rediculous Yes I've been through and turned off every thing I could see in the control panel. I've also noticed that when you reply to any message, the default option it to set email notifications on. I find that a little strange as on most boards it is off by default. Please help us guys, I don't want to have to Spam filter this board as there are some threads I would like notifications from, just not all off them! Plus it will reduce Tom's bandwidth/server load

That sucks. Who the hell wants to sign up on a forum and receive email for every new topic. No offense to tom here, but I have never come across a forum that does this and it is really annoying!

it looks like you have told gameex to load a program on startup, but it can't find the program, that is why it exits. Try putting in the correct path to the program you are trying to laucnh

That feature would be useful for me too. I use a different .ctrl file for all my lightgun games. It would be nice to be able to run all lightgun games with a different .ctrl file than non lightgun games I would also like to see larger logos/snaps when running at 640x288. They really do look too small when running at that res. It is very hard to make them out.

SHOUTCAST Browsing It would be so cool to be able to browse shoutcast streams in the internet radio feature.

I agree with Tom. You need to find the sweet spot. I spent a good hour or so with my arcade monitor adjusting the vhold. The dials are really sensitive, so only move them a tiny bit at a time

that is a shame. the icons/snaps/video previews are just to small for me at that resolution. I can hardly make them out.

Thanks Tom. Worked a treat. I have another question. on the Default - BlueEx - Arcade640x288 theme, I would like to increase the area of the box where the video/snap displays. I think its a little too small. Is it possible ti increase the size somehow?

You can just copy mad dog to your hard drive & run it from there. The game has no protection

I think simpsons bowling needs you to press a certain key to enable the eeprom. Does it load normally without using gameex?

Is there a way to change the font colours in a theme? I find that black & white tend to cause the most flicker when running at interlaced resolutions

Hi Guys, I've spent the last hr or so trying to find the best setup for my arcadde monitor + arcadevga. The problem I'm having is that if I run the montior at 640x480 (max res for me) then the fonts & some images flicker really bad, if I run @ 640x288 then everything is stretched from top to bottom. Has anyone come up with some good settings or themes that minimise the flicker @640x480 or a nice theme to run at 640x288? I'd prefer not to run at 640x288 because the themes do not look very good when resized to such a low res. Thanks guys

Just turn of the arcadevga support in gamex, mame by default uses the .ini files you created.
