No. I plan on just using the Nintendo as a shell. Ill be using usb controllers with a lot more buttons to run what i want. The system will end up something like this.

Whats the best way to encode them? Im using nestopia to make nes movie files, then i export it to avi. I imagine i want to encode it using ffdshow but i get lost after that. I tried encoding it and putting it in the necessary folders, but when GameEx tries to run it, its very choppy. The video freezes a lot but the audio keeps going. I've read that its best to use standard rather then high definition avi files. Any help on what to do would be great.

Im in the process of obtaining a NES to put a little computer inside. I plan of stuffing it full of emulators and good times. I was wondering what the best hardware choises would be. Id like to run N64 and playstation (and possibly dreamcast) games without any problems. I also want to enable video snaps and other cool looking things in GameEx itself. What would you all recommend? I tried fooling around with "create videos" using JNES but i cant figure out what im doing. I imagine i use the escape key to to start and end the video, but pressing ESC makes JNES ether go away or go to windowed mode. Is there a doc. which explains how to do it. Ive looked at the tutorial section but found nothing.

well if kenclops doesnt want to share it, ill create one myself of just gameplay and upload it somewhere. Would rather just download it and save time, but ill gladly do it.

So im downloading some videos from emumovies and am kinda disapointed with some of the NES ones. Addams family for example shows no game play at all. Is there a site where the videos are of just game play or do i have to make them myself?

I already donated once to reg., but after seeing all the hard work thats actually built in, im gonna have to donate more. keep up the truly remarkable work.

So im setting up everything and am very happy so far. Though I do have a question. When i do nintendo stuff, theres lots of catagories there. You can list games by manufacturer, year, etc and when you click on a game, you get a wiki-esc article and a title scree on every game. I was wondering if there are lists or programs like this that will do the same thing for other counsils, like game boy, sega, super nintendo etc... thanks
