  1. I have determined that for some reason B2S Backglass server causes severe lag in some the the older VP 9 tables such as Funhouse and Jokerz!. I have tried for weeks to resolve it but I was unable. I am going under the impression it is because I am running all the screens off 1 EVEGA GTX 970 with i7 and 6 gigs of triple channel memory. However, B2S runs fine with VPX. Because I am unable to run B2S with VP9 I want to disable in it Pinball X. I have tried turning it off in the set up, hiding it on the game manager, and writing it out of the script for the table. It still will not go away. I notice when the table errors out (References to objects in the script it does not understand etc) it opens the script window which still shows B2S.Server is in use even though when I load the same exact table without Pinball X it shows the VPinMAME controller instead. Does Pinball X keep it's own Script for each table somewhere else? How do I get the Back Glass to turn off and stay off with Pinball X? Thank You UPDATE: I found the problem. I had the table in the wrong list in game manager. So VPX was trying to load a VP9 table.
  2. I got it working. I changed the security settings so that all users can use VPX as an administrator and now it works. Thanks Guys.
  3. OK I found something interesting. PinX works fine when I set it up with VP9 but not with VPX. I am using the right tables with the right VP also. Any Ideas? Also...How to I get PinX to stay on top when I exit the rom please? Last...Do I even need to have the rom entered into the database for Pin X? I do but it does not auto record it when I am doing the game manager import etc.
  4. The .docx is broken. It says it was made with a newer version but I just dl'd the latest version of word viewer right from MS.
  5. When you say " have not changed the "[TABLEPATH]\[TABLEFILE]" in the settings wizard. " I assume you mean have not changed it away from the actual path which is C:Visual Pinball blah bla blah...Or am I supposed to leave it as "[TABLEPATH]\[TABLEFILE]"
  6. I have it set to where the folders where the tables are. Is that the right directory? A thought occurred to me....Maybe Pinball X only works with full screen tables and not desktop ones? Does this help anything?
  7. I have 2 working tables in VPX. MM and AFM. It took half the night but they work beautiful. Now I am trying to get Pinball X to load them. I have watched many help video's ect. I tried doing the set up. I tried the game manager which did not seem to alter the .xml file for some reason. I tried manually modifying the .xml. I made sure the table name matched PinX exactly. I even matched the description exactly. When I hit launch it says it cannot find the file but it does not say which file. When I go into Pinball X it shows up. I did not bother to load video's and wheel graphics yet etc. It says loading and then back to the menu. Is there some file I need that is required to load into a folder somewhere to get this working. Below is attached a copy of my .xml I have Pinball X and also VPX in the c drive. Please Help Thank You <menu> <game name="AFM_1.1.1"> <description>AFM_1.1.1</description> <rom>afm_113b</rom> <manufacturer></manufacturer> <year></year> <type></type> <hidedmd>False</hidedmd> <hidebackglass>False</hidebackglass> <enabled>True</enabled> <rating>0</rating> </game> <game name="Medieval Madness Tom Tower 3.0b final"> <description>Medieval Madness Tom Tower 3.0b final</description> <rom>mm_109c</rom> <manufacturer></manufacturer> <year></year> <type></type> <hidedmd>False</hidedmd> <hidebackglass>False</hidebackglass> <enabled>True</enabled> <rating>0</rating> </game> </menu> Visual Pinball.xml
