  1. Tom email me offline.. just how much is tiny? Just curious for my own site, which by the way has nothing to do with video games.
  2. hey guys, here's a pic of my cab running GamEx out on my porch. I built the cab from some original cab plans found on the net. I only changed the cab depth because I have a 22" LCD instead of an arcade monitor. The guts is an AMD dual core with 3g ram and an ATI card. X-arcade tank stick to control the action and a small beer fridge off to the left to keep me happy! -Ing
  3. The Coronas have me thinking... How cool would it be to connect to another cab via the internet as player 2?!? Ing
  4. For Tom: The front page of the GameEx site crashes under Linux running Firefox 3 over the last couple of months. Just so you know.... It's the only site that I've had this problem with and it's plug-in related. I hope that they get the plug-ins worked out because I have to switch computers to access anything but the forums. Again.. just wanted to make you aware. Keep up the excellent work! Ing Edit: I take that back, the site works just fine under Opera/Linux.
  5. GameEx on Linux.... under WINE. I knew in probably wouldn't work because of .net, but I tried anyway to see how far I could get. BTW, this is on Ubuntu. Ing

    Mame snaps

Hmm.... Makes sense, I might have to delete and recopy all those files from my backup drive. We'll see after a few more beers. Thanks, Ing
  7. GXMAME (linux) looks and acts almost exactly like MAME32/MAMEUI for those of you who like to tinker. Ing
  8. looks like mameUI32 works! wine test link
  9. FYI, I just did this in a clean install of vista 64... installed Vista64 codec pack then installed klite full codec pack. Played a few snaps then installed gameex and all is good. Ing

    Mame snaps

What do you mean linked? I copied over the horizontal first, then the vertical. When the same name file came up I chose to keep the larger of the two. Ing Edit. My bad I didn't see the link you put in there...

    Mame snaps

That's exactly the info I was looking for. You guys rock! Ing
  12. GameEx OS, the Linux distribution. I can dream can't I?!?! Ing

    Mame snaps

Question about snaps, I have the HQ set. Do I dump all these folders in my avisnaps folder or only the stuff in horizontal? BTW I'm now using MameUI64 on my MAME cab because my new computer has Vista64. I wasn't able to use the HQ ones before because the old MAME computer would choke on them. Thanks, Ing
  14. Got it and applied no prolblemo. Thanks for the help. Ing
  15. Thanks! I shot Tom and email and hopefully he'll hook me up. Ing
