Ben Kenobi's reply from my initial request (above a few posts) which should sum up what some of us are looking for... Basically the ability to just click on a song in the Jukebox and it starts playing instantly instead of the playlist order we have now. Seems like a simple option to add. I mean you have options in Gameex for everything! This one should be easy (like I know what I'm talking about... )

Please Tom add a "media Player" option to the jukebox! Pretty please?

It seems that alot of us are asking for this. Cant it be made an option to switch between "media player" and "jukebox" styles? Shouldnt be too hard. Gameex is so configurable, yet there are so few options for the jukebox portion.

I didnt see that option. Where is that?

I searched but couldnt find anything. I have rotate display disabled in the config, but I can still hit tab and the screen rotates (even though i am running the unregistered version). I can hit tab 3 more times and its back to normal. I am trying to make the cab idiot proof. I have a "Game Options" button on the CP which is of course mapped to tab, which I want to keep during mame.

Yeah I see how it works. Just wish you could change it. I like the Gameex interface for mp3s. Would hate to run another program from within a great program.

Anyone?? The playlist feature is no good if you want to jump around songs. Can we turn playlists off and have direct control??

Well I hold one of my buttons (player1 #1) and hit left or right, and it goes to the next or previous letter. Should it be going by page or letter?

Is there a way to have left/right on the joystick work as page up/down within gameex only to scroll faster thru the mame games list? I have to get out the keyboard now to do it. Those little page arrows are too slow. I looked in the customcontrols setup but i was a little confused. Using an Ipac2, but i want its functions to be normal under mame (up, down, left, right). My previous frontend (mamewah) did this.

Is there a way to display the game name that the screensaver has running?

I was looking for something with the Aero polish to it.

Would probably look nice. Using the custom V2 now, but would like some of the Vista-ness.
