  1. Hi I am using two setups with Gameex. One with bartop with Gameex on Windows 7, second with Gameex on Windows XP. Is it possible to import my MAME favorite list (around 300 games) from one setup to another, so I won't have to select manually all the titles again on second setup?
  2. I deleted the cache, it rebuilded itself, but the menu structure is still the same. I think I am gonna try to make custom menus instead.
  3. OK, I checkedgameexmenueditor.exe, but there were no custom menus set.
  4. I was looking for this "enable custom menus" check box, but can't find them. I undrestand it is somewhere in setupwizard.exe ?
  5. What do you mean exactly by custom menus? I use Blue Ex 1024x768 theme. I attached gameex.ini file and txt file with gameex log. GameEx.ini gameex log.txt
  6. Hi I cannot hide mame on the start page in gameex, despite having selected option: "put mame under emulated systems". I remember it worked for me with the some older gameex versions.
  7. I just downloaded new nightly version and everything works fine
  8. Hi I am also using this method. For most of my retroarch cores it runs fine, however i don't know why this command line doesn't work with Playstation mednafen core. Does any of you know how to run psx mednafen core, through gameex?

    mame.map file

Thanks a lot, your support really help I downloaded the mame map and it works briliantly (is there a possibility within this mame.map to use option like "no clones, unless better"?) I really enjoy this option in standard mame settings. I use frontend in frontend, becuase retroarch inbuilt frontend looks bad, and is not so friendly to navigate. Check this "crt royale" shader, with small tweaks in settings, it can turn your lcd/plasma monitor to 15 khz arcade monitor

    mame.map file

Hi I am using retroarch mame version through gameex, because of some really nice crt style shader (crt royale) and I found that it works, only when it is configured as seperate emulator. When browsing through game list I would like to get full game name like "Street Fighter II", instead of rom name "sf2.zip" in menu. Correct me if I am wrong, but the only way to do this is through map file right? So my question is, if anyone did already map file for some recent mame version and can share it? I know I can use normal mame and have all the functions, however standard mame don't support this shader which is crucial in simulating an arcade feel to me. Thanks
  11. I have one more question - would it be possible to first configure standard mame in gameex, prepare all the configuration, create gamelist and after everything will work ok, just replace path from standard mame to retroarch, with some command line to work with mame core? I almost got my ideal setup, I lack only possibility to use retroarch mame version with all nice feature that standard mame comes in gameex.
  12. That works, thanks a lot. However I still can't get it to work with mame in gameex, should there be different commands?
  13. Hi yesterday I was battling all day to run retroarch in gameex with no results. I use RetroArch-v1.0.0.2-64-bit version. Retroarch have frontend in itself via you can load different systems and games and most importantly have the best shaders which can emulate really well the crt rgb look of 240p games (IMO better than HLSL in mame), but the frontend itself is a lot worse than gameex. So it is really important for me to be able to use it in gameex. I want to be able to load retroarch already configured eith specific system (it is called core in retroarch). I tried to point to retroarch.exe and used commands that supposedly work with hyperspin like: "retroarch -L libretro-git-snes9x-next-x86_64.dl game.rom" or "-f -D -L libretro-git-snes9x-next-x86_64.dll "%rom%""When I make shortcut to retroarch exe and set this parameters in shortcut properties it work flawless, but when I try it in Gameex It just put me back to gameex or I get retroarch error window and then go back to gameex. Please help.
  14. Hi I just can't get them to work as external emulators. I am using the newest Model 2 emu (0.9) and Zinc with Amazinc frontend. They both start, but selected game is not loading. I assume it is a matter of cmd configuration. Can you help?
  15. It is enabled. Tried xpadder and joytokey and both work fine, except when in gameex, where they don't work at all, why is that?
