  1. RESOLVED! GRRRR arrgg, i should have known the light gun games was the clue. First off thank you everyone for your help!! I actually learned a lot more about mame in this process. Turns out, it's not a lightgun game option or filter in the mame settings. It's instead when GameEx detects a 'touchscreen' it enable touchscreen mode and filters out non-light gun games. Touchscreen has it's own settings section, which I kept skipping because I didn't think i needed to look at that See thread below. In my case, I don't have a touchscreen, BUT I do have splashtop installed which adds a virtual touchscreen driver. http://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/12690-resolved-gamex-only-updating-list-to-show-only-lightgun-games-regardless-of-settings/
  2. I have it turned off. also, the last game I have Zorton Borther. It looks like it hits most of the letters in the alphbet. what's weird, is it seems like most of the games are lightgun games.
  3. I will try Rom Center, i havn't down an audit yet. I downloaded ClrMamePro but dont' know how it work at this point lol. I'll take a look at the last game, can't remember off hand, but i'll take a look. I did remove the filters but still had the issue. I also ran mame itself and all the games showed up and worked (well i didn't try every game, but the list was huge, and many games worked) I believe so, using the tool I believe there was a 64bit option checked somewhere. ALSO, thank you all for all your help!! Hopefully it's something simple and i'm just a moron But I appreciate everyone chiming in!
  4. Thank you for that, I was able to compile using that. And I changed to my own compiled version of mame and still only about 168 roms show up. same result Any other thoughts on why that would be limited?
  5. Hmm i'm getting the following errors when I try to compile. Compile Error.txt
  6. I did try Mame and Mame64 binary's but did not build my own. I did download the source files and build tools (windows), and am compiling now. Guess we will see if that works While i'm waiting for that, I did just run the mame binaries and all the roms would show up there. So that was working, just something about Gameex and updating the list. But i'll report back after I tried my complied option. Question, should I use the 'arcade' build option, or does it matter?
  7. I picked up a full set of 0.167 merged set 7zip roms, and installed gameex. Also downloaded mame and mame 64 binary. Using setup wizard pointed to the roms, pointed to mame64 (then tried again with mame). Booted up gameex and did update list each time. Only about 160 some roms show up. Any thoughts?
