  1. Hey Guys, this is so basic, i dont even dare to ask this question ... if i might have overlooked something please excuse my ignorance :).... back to the request .. would it be possible to implement mouse wheel scrolling in the game manager ? thx in advance and have a nice christmas holiday y'all
  2. okay ... not sure exactly what the problem is, but after i switched back to my other harddrive with a win7 setup all is fine here. seems to be some windows 10 related stuff which causes the trouble. since i copied the pinballx and visual pinball folders from win10 to the win7 drive i can be sure, that it's not related to some strange setting issue within vpx or pbx ... win10 seems to be a bit picky on something
  3. Hey all, i have a strange poblem which you might already know and might have a quick solution for me (at least i hope so ) the thing is .. on very few tables (e.g circus voltaire vpx and last action hero vpx) i get a .net framework error while loading them from pinballx. when i start the problem tables from the game manager all is fine. when i start the problem tables from pinballx_lite all is fine, also. when i disable b2s in the scripts of these tables the start works fine within the regular pinballx . attached are the error messages i see when starting the tables (in this case circus voltaire). i dont see any error within the pinball x log. setting up these tables in a custom pinballx list didnt help. tried out different tables for the same pinball and various backglasss but non worked ... anyone ever stumbled across anything similar ? cheers kev
  4. thx for all your input and sorry for beeing late to the party, but i had only very limited time the past few days to check further regarding your tips. to be honest, in the end i switched back to regular windowed mode. the tips you provided and the enhancement you did to the lates release of pbx is great ! it worked magically for a lot of tables. but in the end .. it was the loading times, and the permanent flicker and switch of the windows when loading a table (maybe more flickering and switching because i used the dsr 4k function from nvidia) which made me go back to regular windowed mode where all trouble is gone. since im happy with my hardware and the setup and see zero lag or stuttering with the windowed config i can go back from fiddling with vpx and pbx to gaming and enyoing pinball , again :).don't condemn me for that :).
  5. Hey there, i might add a question here, regerading the download option via game manager from pinballx. could it be, that if you create custom systems, that when you try to download some missing elements via the game manager, that the list which pop's up, when you set the checkbox "online", is always empty ? i noticed this while playing with customs lists and the true fullscreen option. when i switch back to the "regular" visual pinball list, the popup windows shows content. but like i mentioned, within the custom systems i created manually within the xml file, the return of a media search always provides an empty window. a bug maybe ? cheers
  6. oh, thanks ... great info !!! will try that also. im curious if this works fo me also :). will let you know if this might be a "general" workaround you found
  7. Hey Terry, i might have the same issues as you. everything works fine when disabling the exclusive fullscreen function within VPX. as soon as i activate the option i get various error symptoms when starting tables within PBX. this ranges from some strange problems with an error like "could not find b2s file bla path\.b2s" to not starting the b2s backglass at all. i tried experimenting with PBX to not start in exclusive fullscreen mode also, to prevent problems when 2 apps stay at this mode the same time, but this didnt help. the same "problem tables" started within VPX directly or via gamemanager from PBX runs fine ! so right now i can only circumvent this by not using the exclusive fullscreen from VPX, which would be a shame since i also use the dsr function from my nvidia card to get 4k resolution during gameplay while not messing up my desktop resolution during normal operation. this feature alone makes the exclusive fullscreen one hell of a great option (besides the performance increase i also feel). would be a shame to drop it to use PBX on the cab again. i hope someone from the dev team could check an test the fullscreen option with PBX for a workaround. cheers...
