Swisslizard if you read this, what do you think ? Thanks and have a nice day Edit : as a workaround I added a tskill PinballX command on exit in PinballX settings.
  2. I will ASAP Draco Thanks.
  3. Hi, Forgive me if the question has already been treated and/or answered. I have noticed that when you exit PinballX, a PinballX process is still alive in Windows task manager. If you run again PinballX, a second PinballX process is alive too, if you exit and relaunch PBX a third process appears and so on. Is it a normal way of running ? Thanks
  4. Hi, Let's consider this scenario : - In my VP Tables folder, I have these files : --- SpiderMan (Stern 2007).directb2s --- SpiderMan (Stern 2007).vpt --- SpiderMan (Stern 2007).vpx - In Game Manager, the VP9 version of the table is disabled. If I click Select next to game name, Game Manager sees only one version of the table (the first it founds maybe ?). - If I launch the table through PinballX, it will launch VPX executable and load the VPT table, not the VPX, resulting with an error. The workaround I found thanks to this VPU thread is to move the VPT table to another folder, and then PinballX loads the VPX table. Thanks for your hard work
  5. Hi, Some news on my VP crashing with Ripley's. Here's what I did to fix it - it may be useful for other members, I do hope so : - I started by checking that "run as administrator" was checked on the three .exe file of B2S Server in my Tables folder. It wasn't the case, so I checked the options. - On the first start of VP + Ripley's, no crash. I exited and relaunched VP + Ripley's : crash. - I checked my backglass options, and tried to deactivate "Start this backglass in EXE mode", just in case : bingo !, VP doesn't crash anymore. - Tried a couple of times launching / exiting the table from PBX : no more crashes I don't really know the "start backglass in EXE mode" option makes when it's activated or not, but it works - it seems to work for now, I won't miss to feedback. So it was definitely not a PBX issue If I can give an advice, activate "run as administrator" option of each exe involved in your cab : VP.exe, PBX.exe and so on. It can save many hours of headache ++
  6. Hi, OK, my issue has nothing to do with PBX - I basically thought it was since v2.0.4 update, since I didn't encountered the issue before. VP 9.9.1 stops working with Ripley's if Cabinet Mode in VPM is enabled. If I uncheck Cabinet Mode, tables runs fine. Strange, Ripley's used to work fine till now with Cabinet Mode enabled Thank you anyway for this great front-end and keep the good work guys ++
  7. Hi, I have problems too since the last days with some VP tables launched from PBX (v2.0.4). For exemple "Ripley's Believe It Or Not" (JPSalas' version downloaded from VPU) makes VP crashing when launched from PBX, but runs fine when loaded and launched from VP. On Q-Bert's, when launched from PBX, I can't launch the ball, as if I changed the mech strength value of the plunger to a too low value. Runs fine when launched from VP. I don't have an AMD video card, but a nVidia one, so the trick of Raptr doesn't apply to me. I'm gonna try with the previous version of PBX, and will come back to tell if it's working better or not. I didn't made any hardware or software change. Edit : seems we cannot download previous version of PBX, I will take a look at the log file. ++
  8. Hi, I'm looking too on how to take advantage of ShineOn, it seems really impressive and fun to use First of all I have to run my cab under Windows 10 (and I wonder if it isn't because of Windows 10 that I have issues with ShineOn), because I can't run it with Windows 7. I have too much issues with my PinDMD v2, my KL25Z and my PCI USB 2.0 boards under Win 7 that I don't have anymore under Win 10. The thing I don't understand is how do sequences work. I followed the tutorial, but I only have my Menu/Exit and Start button blinking in PinballX - that's OK, it was what I wanted most, the basic LEDPlugin of PinballX makes my cab totally crash when there's a loop in a sequence. In sequence 2 and 3, I wanted to assign my left and right flipper buttons to have my RGB leds swipe to right/left, when I browse right or left. But it doesn't work. I can't assign joystick buttons (= my KL25Z board configured as a Pinscape Controller). When I click on "Set Key" then on a button, the Configtool doesn't react So I assigned keyboard keys to test, and it doesn't work too : in PinballX, I only have Menu and Start buttons blinking. In the tutorial, everything seems to be done in only one sequence (blinking buttons and swipe to right), but how do you add and assign a second key in the same sequence ? Also I've noticed some issues on my cab : - It seems there's no way to unassign a key, even by putting 0 in the [Assigned Keys] of the shineon.ini file. Even deleting the shineon.ini file, to let Configtool create a new one, doesn't fix this issue, the last assigned key reappear again and again. I had a look in the registry, to no avail. By mistake I assigned the A key to sequence 1 (Menu and Start button blinking), and it always show in Configtool. - The recorded PBA and SBA don't show anymore in the sequence info section of the Configtool, that always shows 0 values. I'm trying again to reinstall Win 7 on another SSD on my cab, just in case I've missed something during the setup that led to issues I had. Cheers.
