  1. Before: After:
  2. No, not always. I'd say like 75% of the time it happens. There may not be any pattern to the actual game that is selected, I'm not sure. I do know that I was trying "1941" and I couldn't get the problem to occur. I'll keep trying.
  3. I have read a few topics about GameEx doing weird things with resolution after playing MAME games. I am still experiencing a problem, but not sure what I'm seeing matches the other posts. I am using BlueEx 640 x 480, my screen resolution is set to the same. After playing a game like "Donkey Kong 3 " (this is just one example), the font in GameEx is much bigger. It is funny but it does not occur with all games (from what I can see right now). If I switch to the 800 x 600 version of the theme, my fonts look okay, but not displayed in the same spot (looks shifted to the right). Unfortunately, I can't find any real pattern and to make things worse, the bug does not happen every time. This does not occur on any other emulators, just MAME. I tried a few other themes and didn't see this happen. I can troubleshoot or send over anything you need. Hope it was okay creating a new post for this -- I wasn't sure if this is the same issue as others have reported, or what has been reported as being fixed in the last few releases. Thanks Tom!
  4. Tom (or somebody who knows), where do we see this new feature in GameEx? I looked through the Advanced Configuration thinking there is a way to enable it, but not seeing anything.
  5. I have found that manuals in .pdf format need to be uncompressed.
  6. Wondering if someone can help me figure out how GameEx looks for Snap and Title files. I use only US ROMS but have the full directory of US/Japan Snaps and Titles (taken from the NoIntro snapshot site). I have noticed that I see Japan Snaps and Titles in GameEx for US games. Example: In my NES ROM directory: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II - The Arcade Game (U)_nes.7z In my Title directory: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II - The Arcade Game (Japan).png Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II - The Arcade Game (USA).png GameEx loads the Japan title. If I remove the Japan file, the USA file loads. I'm assuming GameEx must match on the name up until the parens () and uses the first file it finds. I suppose I could remove the Japan Snaps/Titles but wondering if there is an easier way. Thanks for the help!
