  1. support for buttons up to 12 was already added to gamepadmapkeys in advanced emus config (And they works), so i think that they should work here too
  2. the problem happens with high buttons, i've tested also with Back=10 and it's buggish
  3. i have discovered that the problem (double click back to go effectively back) happens only if i put Back=11 in custominput.ini, if i use Back=1 everything works fine the problem is that i want to use button 12 for back because i don't use it on emulators... notice that this was working in older (7.xx) versions i have also a problem on install, it always creates (in All Users) start menu / programs / accessories / media center / media center programs / gamex BUT: 1) i have italian version of Windows so i don't have a Programs menu (it's called programmi) 2) i deselect media center usage on installer, because i don't have media center Thank you
  4. i had a problem with gamepad in menus in previous versions (after the gamepad mapping rewrite) so that exiting from a game i could not move selection on game list... So after exiting from a game i cannot select another one, i have to go to start page (double clicking back), re-enter game list, then search again for the game... In 8.88 the problem got worse, now if i'm on a game list and i click back on my gamepad, the menu goes to start page, but i cannot move selection. Clicking again back solves the issue, so i have to always double click back to go to previous menu. I suspect this is somehow connected to using start page with flat menu option enabled i cannot use gameex with this issue, and still got no answer on this problem... Also have another problem, i have 2 equal gamepads connected, but only one can control the menu selection, even if i have selected "All attached devices" in options. thank you
  5. i still have problems when exiting from games... i use flat menus, when i exit from an emulator instead of going back to the game list the interface shows the start page, but gamepad cannot move on that, i have to click back AGAIN and then i can move the selection, but i'm on start page and i have to go back to game list and search again...

  8. sorry for late in replying, i told you that i had a problem in 8.22 the problem was that i have setup back buton as the same button for exit from emulators While in previous versions i was able to use the same button to go back in menus and to exit from emus, now (also in current 8.69 version) when i click back to exit from emu the menu goes back also, but i cannot move in the menu. Pressing back again let me move and do selection correctly... So every time i exit from an emulator i go back to main menu instead of going to game selection menu, and i have to click back again to select something. the only thing i have changed in advanced config is gamepadexit, that i've moved from the default setting (up+more 3 buttons) to button12, but this happens for all emulators (not only for project64 which i use the advanced config V6 with) oh, i use flat menus
  9. not 8.22, i think 8.18 or similar, don't remember, from the first version with the new key mappings
  10. because i find useful to have the same button work as BACK... i go back in menus and go back from games... that button goes back
  11. i have a problem with the latest version, from when the new key mapping has landed, i have setup gamepad map to alt-F4 to exit from emulators, and i use the same button as BACK in the frontend. I now have to double press back when moving in the frontend, i goto to n64 games, the i push back... the previous menu is loaded, now if i move the gamepad i hear the sound but the selection does not move, i i press again back the selection moves...

  13. first: search, it should be a filter field with on screen keyboard usable through gamepad, when the filter is empty all is shown, if i write show games containing the letters second: support for 12 buttons in gamepad map keys, currently only 10 buttons are usable
  14. please, add support for 12 buttons gamepad in advanced config gamepad map keys (instead of 10 buttons) , i'm using button 12 as "back" in gameex interface, and i want to use button 12 to exit emulators also thank you
  15. i don't want and don't need xpadder (i tried it), it's another software to run in background while gameex has already the functionality i need, only it's cut down to ten buttons, and i'm asking why it does not support 12 buttons? it should be a rather trivial fix. It feels like a bug to me also, if i use xpadder the button is setup to a fixed key ALWAYS while i need it only if using project 64 There is no hope for a fix?

I have gamepads with 12 buttons, i'm using 10 buttons for emulators (mame games require 8buttons + start | coin so 10 buttons are already in use), and the 12th button to exit from mame/zsnes and other... project64 does not support exiting using a gamepad button so i'm using the gamepad map keys in advanced config to exit, but i'd like to use the 12th button as in the other emulators. The problem is that gamepad map keys has only 10 buttons mapped, i tried to add a button11 and button12 but it does not work, why does it support only 10 buttons if many gamepads has 12? Does it need an update to latest directinput to use the remaining 2 buttons? Do i need to do something more?
