  1. Two thumbs up! Congratulations
  2. Alright, here's my Log file. Btw: I have discovered another strange behavior. I use the "Exit Gameex" Plugin from the Plugin Manager for exiting Gameex and it works flawlessly until I start a "Mame" Game. After closing "Mame", my configured Exit-Key doesn't work anymore. In the logfile there's a line:"06:34:49.7 25/04/2012: Shutting down RawInput Hook". Could that be the problem? As far as I could see, it happens only with "Mame", not with the other emulators.
  3. Any news on this matter?
  4. Hi, the computer which has Gameex installed, isn't connected to internet, so clearing the temporary files doesn't resolve the problem. As you said before, it could be a bug. Thanks again for your help
  5. Hi, I'm having a problem with the scroller since (or just a few updates after?) the first time this feature was implemented in Gameex. I'm using a text for the startpage and one for each emulator (or system). When I start Gameex the startpage-text scrolls the way it should. Then I select a system (VCS 2600 i.e.) and here too it scrolls without problems. Now after that one of two things will happen: #1 I go back to the startpage and the text scrolls normally but when I enter a different system than the VCS 2600 (i.e. C64) the text is that from the previous system (VCS 2600). or #2 I go back to the startpage and the text scrolls normally but when I enter a system the text that scrolls is the same from the startpage. What can be the problem?
  6. Ok. Thanks Tom.
  7. Hi Tom, I've uploaded the theme using your link. It's strange, but the problem happens if I use the "custom emulator layouts" in the Theme Editor. Update: It happens in the main-menu too if I check the "custom module layouts" box. Thanks again. Joe
  8. Hi, thanks for your help. I've deleted all of the cache files but still no luck. The first screenshot shows the main-menu with the selector Bars: The second one shows the emu-list without the bars: I've also uploaded the zip file: Inis.zip
  9. I have converted a previous custom Theme to a version 4 one using the Theme editor. Now if I start Gameex I can see the selector Bar in the Main-menu, but it disapears in the Emulator-menu. I spent all night trying to find a way to correct the problem, but I had no luck (I have already tried to delete the emulator's ini file, but it doesn't work)...
  10. Ok. Just some more Backgrounds, just in case someone is interested...
  11. Hi. Thanks for your help. I think I found the problem: You have to assign a valid Key code for the In Game Key (and no, "L" isn't a valid key code). If you assign an invalid one (in my case) and you press 2 times the L key in a Game, then... well, you know what happens.
  12. Hi, I haven't any key assigned for the In Game-menu, but if I press two times the "L" key in any game, Gameex jumps to the In Game screen.
  13. Can someone help me?
  14. Here are some of my Emu Backgrounds and loading screens.
  15. Hi Tom, I use custom Background-music for each game system and it works flawlessly, if I use only one emulator for them, but if i use an emulator group for a particular system(2 or more emulators), the custom music for it (All emus for that system have the same music folder) doesn't work. Any ideas on how to fix that ? Thanks.
  16. But the idea about LCD Plugin hmm... it's always worth a try. If it works, I'll connect the oven to roast the Turkey, this Christmas.
  17. Ok. Here is my "Please Wait" Logo and bar, and an alternative startintro logo. The bar is what I like the most. It features Pac-Man chased by the Ghosts. Note: There is an English and a Spanish version included in the Zip-file. Waitnstart.zip
  18. ???? ehm... thanks, but it's only a Joke.
  19. Wow ! It was easier than thought, and it works perfectly now ! It's really the most complete Frontend I've ever seen. You're really putting a lot of attention and care into every detail. The only features missing, are for example, the ability to control a Toaster or a RC Airplane through Gameex. Seriously, thanks a lot for your efforts, Tom.
  20. Hi Tom, Thanks for your fast response. I'm not really sure how to do it, but I'll give it a try.
  21. Hi, I've configured Gameex the way I like, but there is still one thing that I can't figure out. I have all my Systems (Arcade, Computers & Consoles) listed in alphabetical order. I use only one Emulator for each System, except for old PC Games. For those I use two different ones: Dosbox and Scummvm. Therefore I have grouped both Emus to show only one System (PC Games - old) with a single Games-list. The problem is that grouped-Emus are listed just after the Main Gameex-predefined Emulators (MAME, DAPHNE...) and I can't work out how to show it listed like the others in alphabetical order (In this case, under PC Games - New). Here's an example list to show what I mean: Arcade Games PC Games - Old (Before 2000) <--- Atari 2600 Atari 5200 Commodore Amiga Commodore 64 Fujitsu FM Towns Nintendo NES Nintendo SNES PC Games - New (After 2000) Sega Master System Sega Mega Drive Sega Saturn Is there a way to configure it, or isn't possible ? Thanks in advance.

    Music in Main menu

Hurrah !!!! For me, it's the final touch for the best Frontend ever made. Thank you very very much Tom for your help.

    Music in Main menu

I'm sorry if it was a stupid question, but I'm still getting the same problem with the last release of Gameex. I already have searched trough all posts and I didn't find any solution. Is there someone that can help me ? Thanks in advance
  24. Hi, I have Gameex configured to play a specific song with the jukebox for the main-menu, and a different song for each emulator. But there I'm having troubles: after I select an emulator, the music from the main-menu stops and a new one for the selected emulator starts to play. So far so good... But after going back to the main-menu, the music from the emulator list stops and the main-menu music doesn't come back. I mean, it only plays at the start when I first execute Gameex but after selecting an emulator and coming back to the main list it won't start again. I am doing something wrong, is it a bug or is it something not yet implemented in Gameex ? Thanks
