  1. can this be installed "over the top" of the last build without messing things up, losing all my table graphics, etc?
  2. I bet this is it. I have a 2 year old son that loves messing with the pinball buttons. I had it turned on earlier and was talking on the phone and he had been pushing front buttons like mad, then I powered it down and the next time I turned it on the tables were gone. Good to know about this post, I'll check it out tonight. Thank you!!!
  3. No changes at all to my cabinet but for some reason today when I turned it on and it autobooted into PinballX, only 4 tables were displaying instead of 78. These 4 tables all worked fine. When I exited out of PinballX and started visual pinball directly, I could find all the tables in the normal folder and launch them just fine via the editor. The next thing was to load the PinballX game manager, I figured only the 4 would be showing up there but I was wrong, everything looked just fine there too. I tried adding and deleting a table to see if that would kick things back into gear but no go, only the 4 are showing when I launch PinballX. Very strange, no idea what went wrong or how to fix it short of reinstalling it all, which sounds painful. Anybody know what I did wrong?
  4. This sounds awesome, can you post a pic for us to see?
  5. I have the legit paid for version, I didn't realize there was anything else. Maybe that explains why some people have a different path than others though. Thanks for the help, I'll move the files out of the pinballfx2 folder. Thanks!
  6. Hi Jeff, that is actually the directions that I was trying to follow! Note this part of that page: These files must be run from the same folder from which Pinball FX2 or Steam or Xbox Live App is running, or you will get a security warning or Pinball FX2 will crash or you may get the dreaded "Steam is still running" message. This is why I linked to my particular steam setup, it is completely different than what the nukelauncher directions reference! My steam folder path looks like this: program files x86 \steam\steamapps\common\pinball fx2 So following those nukelauncher directions to the letter would seem to tell you to put the files in there. However you reply a triple capital no, hence the confusion.
  7. There is a bit of a loading time before PinballX screen shows up, during this time I get to look at my win7 desktop. I'd like to set it up to show some cool pinball related graphic or theme but I'm not very creative. What have you guys done to trick yours out? Have you gone as far as trying to edit or change the windows loading graphic and sound or do you leave that part alone?
  8. my steam dir looks like this: program files x86 \steam\steamapps\common\pinball fx2 I put my nukelauncher files inside the pinballfx2 folder, is that correct?
