You looking to do direct table launch? As long as you have the xml file or tables named properly in game manager I'd suggest changing your working path to the folder the contains the fx2 exe, and the executable use the actual fx2 exe, works for me and mine is also in a random directory Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I appreciate the help. This ones way over my head along with your script...lol. I am more or less looking for a way to build an exe that will launch my dmdext with dmdext mirror --source=pinballarcade --virtual-position=3000 500 1600 400 --quit-when-done -and combine that with also launching my FCM exe kinda like C:\NOEX_Mod\TPAFreeCamMod.exe Havent a clue how to make something to do it. Anyone?

I've finally got around to playing with the free camera mod but now I'm also wanting dmdext to run. I'm already using pinballx to launch irotate to and from PBA while using the mod exe to launch it and The PBA exe. What would be the smoothest way to get something to call up dmdext with my parameters? Maybe an ahk that calls it and the camera mod shortcut? Can anyone help me with this? I have a friends cab I built where LAV filters did not work to get the media running. We removed them and used sharkeys007 instead...a little dated but did the trick. Maybe try it? What other video players are loaded? Are you running audio from the mobo or gpu? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Logs look correct do you have audio coming from backglass and or table and or table audio folder on some? Had this same thing when I downloaded all the media from the ftp. I went in and deleted the table audio files that were doubling the audio on tables that audio was playing form the table or backglass video. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did you download a massive amount of media? Table audio or backglass audio can be doubled up with the regular audio files, at least that's what I've seen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That's what's odd. It works like a charm outside pbx. This error is very random. I'm not doing anything with OpenGL it just happens to be the error I get when launching via pbx. Backglass and dmd set for cabinet mode working, I can get it with dmdext or the native one, just not from pbx, and it driving me nuts! Reinstalling is doing the same thing. Anyone have a rock solid answer? I'm getting an Opengl version error saying I'm using 1.10 and needs 2.0 or higher? I have a gtx 970 and up to date drivers on winX. I've run into this same issue with videos as opposed to images on my friends cab. He has an AMD chipset and since we've changed to a gtx770 videos do not show during play for toppers nor FX2. Only work around I've found is loading images. PBX plays videos on the wheel then it loads the static image for play. I have the exact build on my i7 with a gtx 970 and videos work all around. I believe the issues are with the onboard video and pbx. Tom had responded to my post in saying images would be the way to go. Hope this helps in some way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks like your parameters in your settings for pinball fx2 are set to some script? Parameters section try -applaunch 226980 [TABLEFILE] You also have launch before and after settings that don't seem to have a need at least not in the machines I run it in. The looks of it is like you are trying to call back pinballx where as your quit table button should put you back without needing any of that in there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

For this pc it seemed unavoidable back when I tried removing shark I tried just LAV filters and many tables weren't showing media. I added it in and they are back. Also tried running with both. No luck. I'm thinking something's set in stone because the onboard wasn't disabled sooner...might be a full reinstall...ugh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Funny you should mention this actually. When we first loaded this cab (my friends build)it worked great. The BGs went away so I first re-installed sharkys007 codecs and we were good. That's when I noticed a big lag on vpx tables. That's when I realized he was using a weak gpu and on board for dmd monitor. We put in a 770, disabled the on board and uninstalled Raptr. Up til yesterday I thought all catalyst software was gone but a piece was still there. Removed it and still have the issue. All throughout this process we would get one to show then nothing. Randomly yesterday bobs burgers worked once then won't anymore. I started trying images but same issue. Do you know of any other areas maybe registry files that are connected to the on board? Im half tempted to just reinstall fresh and move him to win10. It's on 7 64 currently. Odd thing is even the log file shows Dx making a BG window and lists no error. Tables like Scarface in vp have a unhidden backglass and they work without issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There's a nice rom renamer tool in the hyperspin forums. It allows you to get creative to match several folders to different media folders. Takes a bit to get used to but if you have hundreds to do it can cut the load down quite an it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's gotta be pulling that ipdb from the databases folder somehow. I have fx2 media behave differently in still at a loss as to how my BG videos show in front end and go black for table launch. Only reason i bring it up again is cause on my friends cab running 7 it used to work then mysteriously stopped. Yet same files, same xml, runs perfectly on my cab on win10...!?!
