Hello, I have a monitor and a TV, both set up via HDMI. I am trying to run these as duplicate monitors so people don't have to look over the players shoulders on the arcade. GameEx starts fine in this mode but as soon as I launch a game I get a black screen. I can hear the sounds going so everything is running but I can't get a display. I am using MAME 0.168, Steam, and ZSNES. Is there a switch on GameEx I need to hit or do I have to manipulate each emulator somehow? Also, if I run games from the emulators themselves without GameEx, it works perfectly. Thank you!

Okay I believe you solved most of my problem. I found the AppID by removing all of the .ini's that were current dated, then re ran Injustice and saw that it created its AppID (242700). Searching for overridewaitprocess brought me to a thread in this forum where you recommended someone use their exe. Tried it first with Injustice.exe then Injustice.exe *32 and failed. Tried with steam and it worked...but GameEx wouldn't re-run because Steam never technically closes. So I changed the ini to read Injustice, tested good and on exit it would bring me to desktop but after a few seconds GameEx would relaunch where I left off. I can't test the others right now but I am pretty darn sure this will fix the problem. Thanks a bunch!

Hello nullPointer, Thanks for the quick reply. I see your example (32400.ini) in the Steam/Configs folder. The games I have installed are: Divekick Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition The King of Fighters XIII Steam Edition Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Street Fighter X Tekken Do you know how to find the ID number (32400), and how do you tell what Steam is using to run the game?

I have been having this problem where any Steam game will minimize and go back to GameEx after ~1 minute of running. Nothing else is running on the machine except GameEx and Steam and it only happens on Steam games while GameEx is launching them. Anyone else ever have this issue? SNES emulated games are running flawlessly. Here is what I pulled from the log file:

Hello guys/girls, I just purchased a full copy of GameEx and so far it has been amazing. I do have a few questions though, is there a way to have GameEx start my Steam game and NOT close Steam when I exit the game? Also does anyone know of a way to force Steam to start in offline mode automatically through the GameEx launcher? I saw that if I told GameEx to not automatically sign me in all I had to do was sign in once and I was good to go throughout the play session but I am sure there is a way to make this happen without pulling out a keyboard/mouse and manually logging in once. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
