OK... one little issue. The first time it worked, it worked great. second time it came up with a black screen, heared the little 'doonk' sound XP does when a system message pops up, and it sat at the black screen till i hit escape, then the ISO loaded just fine.

BRILLIANT! installed a newer build of ffdshow and it works wonderfully! if i didnt already have 2 little boys, id offer to have your babies.

upgraded the the recent version lately. Installed gameex on a fresh PC with ISO support enabled selected when installing, but for the life of me gameex will not see any ISO's when using the DVD feature. What do i need to do to get this to work?

yaaaay!

it was so late last night i entered retard mode. Dis a search and found a link to the Vista codec pack. Installed that, but i had to rename the mp4 files to avi to get gameex to see them. They played, but no preview window is displayed and after exiting the video, no more icons are displayed next to anything on any menu untill i exit and restart gameex. I'll give k-lite a go when i get home. I thought i had allready installed either it or the defiler pack, but when i went to remove it before installing the vista pack, only ffdshow was installed. blargh.

is the video player suppose to be able to play *.mp4 files by default? If not, is there a way to enable this?
-
So i have the videos path in the config set to e:\videos. All is well and dandy, but in gameex, when you go to multimedia->videos it makes me select the videos folder, then i'll see the other folders under them. If i have the default videos path set to e:\videos, when you enter it, shouldnt it just show the sub directories and not make you go into the videos directory first? bah. nevermind. if you set each individual folder by itself it works as i would expect.
-
haha! i didnt have the correct codec selected. All is well.

I'd be happy if all the money i was getting back wasnt going right back out...

Im having some issues with this one. I currently have a couple DVD's ripped into vob all nice and neat in their own sub folders. They show up in gameex, and i have power dvd installed, but when i try to play them, the screen goes black, i can see the top blue bar of a windows box resize a few times, then it goes right back to the gameex screen. What am i missing here?
