Just gave this a try and then checked on a few of the physmod tables that always leave the lights on. I'm happy to report that setting the physmod as Visual Pinball works and the lights turned off every time. Thanks a bunch for all of your work on this Tom!
Hi Tom- Tried out both .exe files and they work well. The both show the same behavior which is very similar to 1.85. The LedWiz turns off for the majority of the tables with the exception of some of the physmod tables, but this is the behavior that I saw with 1.85 as well. Not sure what the difference is between the two versions of VPinball that would cause this. Thanks for all of your efforts on this Tom!
Gave the latest test .exe a shot last night, and unfortunately I'm still getting the same results with the undercab lights not turning off when exiting a VP table.
The script unfortunately didn't work for me randr. I get the error message from the vbs script (Error: Unable to initialize LEDWiz or Pac-Drive. Verify that the OCX or DLL is registered and the board is connected.). Any thoughts? I'm using both a LEDWiz and a Sainsmart device. Tom, what do you mean by 'the feature'?
I've just been using Audacity to do straight recordings from the tables running in VP. Quick, easy and a nice supplement to all of the great recordings that gStAv has already done for us.
Thanks gStav! Added the Diner music yesterday and it sounds great. The sound quality on all of these is excellent. The only wierd one I ran into was Attack from Mars which is softer than the others. When you get back home and get a chance if you could add Grand Lizard and Tron to the list it would be much appreciated!
I've been going through the top 100 on Pinside and adding available tables. So far the ones without sounds are Diner, Fathom and Space Invaders (further down the list but the cabinet I'm using to build my virtual cabinet is a Space Invaders so I had to have that one, right?). One workaround for a default sound is just have multiple copies the same name as each table I would assume. I really appreciate all the work you've done on this audio! It add a ton to the overall presentation.
What is everyone using for tables that they don't have ROM sounds for (as in a generic "catch all" tune)? As I get more tables, I'm starting to run into ones that I can't find audio for.
