Ok so I finally got my new joys in and my trackball fixed. I haven't updated gameex in almost 2 years. I spent a lot of hours ( I think) setting up my favorites list. If I update how do I keep from going through 3000 roms to retain my favorites?

i'm fairly unknowledgable on the emulators. What makes one better than the other? Also, i'll try those settings tonight. Thanks!!!!!

So when i press the alt enter combo, it goes full screen, getting rid of the tool bar at the top, but the screen ends up getting smaller. Not windowed or anything it just zooms out and puts a 3 inch black marquee all the way around the game. Any thoughts? also, if i get that fixed is there a way to have it start in full screen mode.

Will do, I just didn't know if ffdshow used that codec or not. To be honest not real sure how codes work.

GReat, i was able to get .avi files to play. IS there a smaller format? I tried to get a flv file to play but couldn't get it to. my zuma avi is 4.7 mb and the flv is 860kb.

So i have snaps all setup for my touchscreen games. If i want videos to play instead, how to i get that to work? I have the video files and path setup. But when i go to the game it shows a black box where it would display the video but nothing shows up. does it have to be in a certain format, i am using vlc player outside of gameex. Not sure what else i need to do.

It there a way to get a thumbnailed view or the jukebox albums list? That way for those with touchscreen pc's they could use it as a touchscreen jukebox. I am currently running gameex to run a better than megatouch style machine with the gameex front end. I amgoing to add a new HD to it and it would make the perfect all in one touchscreen juke / megatouchmachine.

Is there anyway to get the jukebox screen to list the albums like this and not list them showing one album cover at a time? I am using a touchscreen and it would be so much more helpful to view album covers than album titles.

I am loading pc games by using the *.lnk option. For some reason some games are showing up twice in the list. I can't get my print screen to work otherwise i'd show a picture.

I followed the tutorial on how to load external games through and emulator and it's working fine. Except i get a somewhat nag screen before the game will load that shows up in a command prompt. Anyway to get rid of it and just have the game load right up? Once i press a key it does load fine. C:\Program Files\GameEx>C: C:\Program Files\GameEx>CD "C:\Program Files\Zuma Deluxe" ECHO is on. Sorry, I see the pc games emulator. I mean under the game i'm trying to include, there are tons of data .ini files. Which one do I pick, told you I was slow

So the .ini file for select import emulator? There are hundreds of them under the game folder. Does anyone get on the chat anymore, maybe they could help walk me through this. I am kinda slooow

So would I just pick any old emulator and put the exe file in the path area? Then put the avi in the video path section. Sorry, i'm at work right now and don't have the gameex config in front of me to know what the boxes actually are.

Ok, i have no idea what i'm doing What steps do i take to get the video in there. I have the external apps setup. Just not sure under the external apps setup where i would put the path to the avi at.

Is there a way that i can pull out a list of my mame favorites so that i can have a txt file or some other way of just seeing the games that are in my favorites? I ask because i want to get snaps of those of emumovies and instead of writing down the 200-300 i have in if i could have a list i could just check them off when getting the torrent. Thanks

Hi, I went to the emumovies site and when i click on the mame 119 torrent link it just loads a page of gibberish, nothing downloads, not chance to save the torrent? Am i going to the wrong section?
