is it possible to turn off the red cross in the upper right corner of the gameex display... if it can be turned off, can you still exit gameex somehow, via another option? Thanks

G'day, I have installed mame 112 binary executable files and the full mame 112 rom set. If i test the roms with a front end like 'easy mame' it detects about 6000 roms and i can play what ever i want and all 6000 games are shown. If i start up Gameex and tell it to do the mame update it goes thru and detects over 6000 roms and adds them but when i go back in to gameex and select all mame games to play it brings up about half of the roms. Is there a limit to how many games gamex will show in mame? Thanks for your time

Anybody know where i can find high quality emulator logos to use in gamex, you name it, im chasing it, nintendo, sega, commodore etc, etc

FIXXED IT!! i went to the gameex folder in the start menu. i ran the gameex config and set everything to default (i have all my data/roms etc all saved to gamex prefered default directorys) at the end of the config, i got it to verify settings.... and it said my mame32 directory did not exit!!!! i ignored it and started gameex anyhow,and selected previous mame game played and it started the game... exit from mame and back in to gameex this time selected mame and all mame games gameex said it wanted to do an update and i let it do its thing... a short wait later after it did all its updating etc... IT WORKS! hope this may help someone else

I did have an earlier version of gameex installed and it was working ok. i decided upgrade to the newest version of gameex as my version was quite old. (hindsite, i should have left it alone cos it was working fine, except when exit the mouse would vanish and i had to use keyboard.at least now my mouse does not vanish when exit.... just cant play any games *sigh* upon updating gameex, mame will not work. gameex start up. i can select mame option. then i can can scroll to only list option 8 -neogeo menu.there is about 8 more to go and it wont let me go there. if i go all mame games and hit ok, screen goes black for a few seconds, then returns to selection screen.infact any mame option i select screen goes black and returns to selection screen i read the faq and have removed the bit about skip-disclaimer. out of sheer desperation i upgraded my mame to 111 was 104. still no go. my mame update button has disapeared.i have gone in to config and set it to display and it wont.even set it to not display.saved.exit.go back in to config and re-enable, save, exit, no go :-(( appreciate any help thanks
