  1. I have a feeling, since its the same issue on all of them, that I a missing something simple.
  2. LOL ok well that was easy Here are the files requested. GameEx.ini log.txt Nintendo 64.ini Nintendo GameCube.ini Sega Genesis.ini
  3. Do I just attach the files or cut and paste? Sorry not seeing where to "attach" them
  4. Thanks guys! This worked. Now it seems pretty obvious explaining it, Starting to understand the logic finally
  5. Hi Everyone its me again LOL. Ok, so I am a convert from Hyperspin and have been working on getting my machine working fully with Gameex. My questions of course are sometimes very dumb, so I thank anyone who provides assistance ahead of time. Now that I have my Mame, Daphne, Sega Naomi all working properly, I have moved on to my consoles. Sega Genesis, SNES, and Nintendo 64. I have been following the setup guide for them, and Gameex Finds them even downloads all the artwork for the roms. My issue is with launching them. All 3 exhibit the same behavior. I select the game, gamex unloads and begins to start the emulator, and then returns back to gameex. I see a lot of threads on this but they seem to be related to Mame, but as stated above my MAME, Daphne, Etc, All working great! Now, it should be noted that these consoles work fine when I launch them outside of Gameex, and they also work fine when Hyperspin tries to launch them. I even tried to mimic the hyper spin settings in GameEx. So my thought is, since all 3 are behaving the same way, I MUST be missing something simple. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance!
  6. In digging further, I see there is an American Laser Games Database, but again, no setup for the emulator. I can make a new Emulator and select the database, but I don't see where to list the batch files needed so I can setup the games. Maybe I have gone off in a tangent with this, or, I am very dumb and completely missing something obvious? (That's the most likely answer)
  7. Hi again! Ok I have searched around, and can't seem to find the answer to this one, and I am sure it is there. After a lot of effort I was able to get Daphne Singe working for my two fav games Mad Dog 1 and 2 I have been reading around the forums and I understand I can get these to launch via batch files, which I have created and work fine out of gameex. My question is, where the heck do I tell GameEx how to launch them? If I do it as an additional rom in Daphne, I don't see where to tell it to use the batch file I created. Is there a place I am missing or a configuration option I am not seeing? At the lowest level, I need to understand where to setup a new Emulator that will just launch games via Batch files. Any help or links to documentation would be appreciated!
  8. Ok that was it! Changing the in the Input the Exit combo to just the "~" fixed the issue. Now thinking about it it was a pretty obvious fix. LOL Thank you so much!
  9. Hi Everyone, I have been searching the forums but if this was discussed previously, I can't seem to find it. I have Demul running for some of my lightgun games. I got it launching properly, got LEDblinky working, and its great. However, I have one issue. Once the game is running, my 'Exit' button doesn't leave the game. I have my Exit button mapped to "~" to prevent people from exiting GameEx, and in other emulators I can specify the exit alternatively to the ESC key. But for the life of me, I can't figure out how to send an exit command to Demul! I am using version 5.7 as the other version dont seem to work properly with the lightguns. So if anyone knows how to do this, or can send me the link in the forums to the thread where this is resolved, I would appreciate the answer! Thanks so much in advance! YarSelph
  10. Thank you, I can confirm both of these changes do work. Sorry I did not realize it was MAME itself. Thanks again!
  11. Hi everyone, I am new here so please forgive me if this question has already been answered somewhere else, but I have taken the time to search for the problem I am having, but, its possible I am not using the proper terminology so I can't find the solution, but here goes. When I launch some MAME games in fullscreen, a few of them get a huge title banner/header that takes up about 4" of the top of the screen. I'll use NARC as an example. When NARC is running in the Gameex Screensaver, it is in full screen with no banner, even if I play it in the screen saver, there is no banner/header. But, if I pick the rom from the game selection menu, it then has that 4" banner/header that says WILLIAMS on it, and the game itself is in a small window below that. I am not sure if this is a Gameex, or Mame setting, but I can't seem to find anything on this? Any suggestions or help would be appreciated!
