Hi Tom and everyone, I'm seeing some intermittent lag moving round the menus when I use an SB Live card. Also the clicks are being missed or not defined properly. If I disable card and use onboard AC97 this goes away but quality is less good for jukebox. Same results using 3.44 and previous 3.38. This is using MCE on P4 3G / 512Mb. No other apps running. Hopefully theres an answer or fix ? Not seen such probs with these cards generally under MCE and I like to use them 'cause they're cheap and give a 'real' sound. many thanks, Chris.. (MK, UK)

Here's my 'MarkII Arcade Machine'. It's running GameEx of course which I think is the best frontend especially for an MCE based machine. It's based on a 19' half-height comms rack, with 21'' monitor on top with perspex cover, then modelling foam board stuck on the front/sides. The effect works great and everything fits perfect. 'MarkI' had artwork and marque but I found these wrinkled with time so I have decided to leave this one blank. LED is a nice touch and can display scrolling text. Whole thing can be built in hours and dismantled/moved in minutes. Plays Mame, movies, home videos, pics, mp3s from a central storage server over wireless using WPA encryption. Chris.. (MK, UK).

In the 'MAME Update' settings (part of the config program) set 'Only Working Games' to YES, and 'Allow Imperfect Games' to YES also. This worked for me. I also had Clones OFF, and the Filter ON. Your Neo Geo and Capcom games will magically appear. Also recommend turn off the 'Verify ROMS' to speed up the listing update. Chris..
