I've found several benefits to Kawaks over Mame. If you have a halfway decent system, it's support for different blitters and scanlines really improves the graphics, and also their low-pass audio filter cleans up the sound emulation on most titles. And like I mentioned, some titles in Mame that seem to bog down in heavy action are noticeablly smoother. I have not enabled kawaks in GameEx yet. Waiting till I try the other emus first before making the change. Kawaks does use most of the same roms from Mame, but support many other titles including some fun hacks to the metal slug series Pl3asuredome does have a full kawaks set available. It has 493 roms and weighs in @ 4.45Gb.
