  1. Alt-F4 works fine though, but I dont have that on my slik-stik control panel. I am forced to pull out the keyboard everytime to shut down Project64. Maybe I am not understanding you, but are you telling me that by setting up Alt-F4 in my advanced config as a key upon exit so that if I actually hit the escape button on the control panel , it will also cause Game Ex to send the Alt-F4 command to Project64 thereby shutting it down and returning me to the Game Ex screen? If so that is great. I will give it a try tomorrow. PS: I should note that in earlier versions of Game Ex hitting escape on my control panel did exit from Project64. It was only in the recent upgrades that I noticed that it stopped working.
  2. Im using version 1.6. I beleive its latest regular version.
  3. In Projeect64 "escape" toggles between full screen and windows. "Alt-F4" exits the emulator. When you say send keys are you referring to Map Keys? If you are, I already have set it in advanced config. If not, can you explain it to me? Thanks.
  4. It already is set to that. Thanks for the help though.
  5. I have about 20 emulators installed on my registered version of Game EX. Almost all of them work great. I am having issues with emulators for Virtual Boy, Jagaur, and Neo Geo Pocket, but that is a discussion for a different topic. My problem that I am hoping someone here can help me with is that the escape key does not seem to work with Project64. With every other working emulator, hitting escape end the emulator and returns me to Game Ex. But with Project 64, all that happens is the emulator goes to window mode (In Project 64, hitting escape toggles between full screen and windows). I can exit out of the game by hitting Alt-F4 (the designated Project 64 way to exit), but I am using a dedicated cab, and do not want to have to pull my keyboard out every time I want to end a N64 game. I do have Map Keys set to "Yes" in the Gam Ex config wizard, but it does not seem to work. I am running Game Ex 7.71 but will be shortly upgrading to 7.77, but I doubt that will fix the issue. Can anyone help me with this?
  6. go to emumovies.com. Thye have old commercials there. Good luck.
  7. Also be sure to download the lastest daily build and not the regular download of ffdshow. I first downloaded the regular version and the video was all choppy and upside down. I deleted that and reinstalled the daily build and it works great now.
  8. Wow, completely ignore the prior post. It had nothing to do with .net and was the fault of my own stupidity. Problem solved. Sorry to have bothered anyone with this. Game Ex really is a great product. Thank you so much for constantly working at improving it.
  9. I have a wells gardner monitor in my cabinet. Everything was working fine until I installed .net 2.0 and Gameex 7.51. All of a sudden, whenever I try to start up any emulator but MESS or MAME. my screen just goes white. With MESS and MAME I can go full screen no prob. I can also go full screen with GameEX, but not with Kega, or nestopia, or any other emulator. The games will still work in a window, but the screen just turns white if I go full screen. The resolutions on the other emulatos was not changed. I dont know why this is happening. Has anyone else experienced this? My guess is that this has something todo with the .net install. Please help me.
  10. Sorry for sounding like a noob, but how do i get to the log? When Reality Boy fails, I am simply returned into GameEx and it continues to function fine with all other emulators.
  11. I installed Reality Boy to play Virtual Boy Roms that I have. It works fine when I play the games directly via the emulator. However when I try to play to play the games via GameEx, I get a message that Reality Boy has experienced an error and needs to shutdown and I am returned to GameEx. I have already successfully installed NES, SNES, Sega, NG4, and game boy emulators, but I simply cannot get this one to work. I have installed the configuration that came with GameEx for Reality Boy, I have double checked that I have all the correct file paths. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I try Red Dragon instead of Reality Boy, even though Reality Boy is the one that comes preconfigured with GameEx?
