  1. Yeah unfortunately it looks like that file is only reading the high scores from somewhere else. Any edits to it just revert back upon loading the table.
  2. Feature request: Not sure if this is even possible, but since PinballX is able to read high-scores, is it theoretically possible to reset the scores via the front-end? I'm really bad at pinball and would like my high scores to be my personal bests and not the default personal bests that the tables come with because lord knows I'll never reach those.
  3. My faul!! Apologies! You can delete this topic. I'll put my request there.
  4. Not sure if this is even possible, but since PinballX is able to read high-scores, is it at all possible to reset the scores via the front-end? (I know the functionality is not currently built in but I'm just curious if it is even able to be done, possibly as a feature down the road...) I'm really bad at pinball and would like my high scores to be my personal bests and not the default personal bests that the tables come with.
  5. Hey everyone - seeing as this forum is starting to get a whole lotta use what with Tom's eternal devotion to giving us updates (thanks Tom!), does anyone else feel that the forum might benefit if there were different areas of the forum? I know a lot of places divide up their forums so all the messages aren't just in one big list. There could be "General" "Troubleshooting / Bugs" "Releases" and "Themes" sections etc. Just a thought - hope this hasn't been suggested before. I just thought it might help users sort out their posts a bit better.
  6. hey tom, just wanted to say thanks for putting in the customizable controls. it brings a whole new life to my arcade machine, and now the interface is intuitive for people who just walk up and want to start playing (instead of me having to tell them what buttons do what). you rule!
  7. Ditto - Fixed for me as well. Now I don't dread making configuration changes!
  8. this is just a stab in the dark, but is the monitor you want them on set as the "primary" monitor? when programs open they usually default to appearing on the default monitor. i know ATI has a program called Hydravision which lets you further customize which monitor programs will open on. Does NVidia possibly have anything similar? Again, shots in the dark... Best of luck!
  9. since its happening on mine too ill tell you my specs - its a slower computer (733mhz, 512 RAM, Newest Net Framework and XP Syspack 2)
  10. I will say that mine *almost* hangs after hitting the save button. Things seem to lock up for a few seconds while it saves (it usually takes about 10 seconds to commit the changes for some reason) but then it frees itself after that and all is fine.
  11. I'm one of those people that need motivation to do things... I was looking at the existing themes and noticed that while they all looked great, they were also all blue. I'm working on a cab thats based on a red/orange theme. Would anyone be interested in colaborating on a red/orange theme with me?
  12. Woohoo! Thanks for adding the attract mode option
  13. I see someone else requested this awhile back but I'd like to be able to just jump in from the attract mode and play (i know there's a "last played" portion in the menu, but it kind of takes you out of the arcade "world" in order to do that.. maybe have gameex just ignore keys 5-8 as valid ways to exit the attract mode?) Not a big deal, just a minor request.
