also solved the second problem indeed with resolution in games so I'm a complete happy NOOB now
-
first problem has been solved, he still reconizes my buttons and joysticks but still I'm wondering how to solve the flickering games
-
Ok here's some pics of my cab/gameroom. I bought a NBA Tournament dedicated cab and then I modified it with some extra buttons. I only need to change the T-molding because at some points it's totally been broken. But this is my winter project ;-)

1 - I'm going to try the solution of Katuuuz 2 - I'm registered but I already read on the forum of the Bezel turning on or off and I've tried both but both didn't work out. - I've got all the filter on no but I've got 2600 roms and when I use Mame 32 I got a little bit more then 100. - For neogeo and a couple of other games it's a problem that they are really shaky so the screen goes 1 or 2 inches up and down but then 5 times per second, si I don't think I can solve that with the video settings, but I'm a NOOB so I don't know this for sure. Will try it this afternoon, thanks

I've still got some stupid questions : 1 - I have XP and I'm immediately starting through with GameEx but I always have to escape install the WinIpac driver for my J-pac card because otherwise it won't reconize the buttons and joystick ? 2 - If I'm using Mame - command line version I can't run Vertical games If I'm using Mame32 I can only see 10% off all games (but I've read on the forum that I'm not the only one with that issue) If I'm using Mame - command line with AdvanceMame then I can run all games only my neogeo is flickering and the resolution is only using 75% of my screen? Can somebody please help me out here? Many thanks in advance

By the way is there a possibility to configure mame command line version to run with vertical games maybe a other ini file?
-
thanks for the update

Hi there, I was already helped out fine previously and I now got a registered version :-) Because it's worth it! But I'm wondering I still got a bit of tweak problems. When I'm running mame32 under gameex and try to update I only see a couple of hundred games, when I change that to mame command line version then I see a couple of thousand games, that's more like it, but I've got problems running vertical games (by the way I've tried the bezel turning on and off but with didn't work out). Now I tried run it with mame to update game list and to run the games with advanced mame. I now can play the vertical games but my NeoGeo games and a couple of others are not full screen and they are flickering :-( I'm wondering what to try now, do I have to run the NeoGeo games seperately with a NeoGeo emulator or does somebody maybe have a other solution? Do the most of you use advanced mame or just the normal mame command line and then fix the vertical in some other way? Many thanks again Grtz wouter

Re-installed the driver and the galaga ship was already there, I first tried with a 640X288 theme but also other themes are working perfectly now :-) So I was just following the instructions from the beginning again. I'm totally happy because I think it's the best frontend on the market!!!!!!! Many thanks again for all the help!

Seems to be working perfectly, I'm going to play a little bit further and ofcourse buy the progam Many many thanks for all your help!!

I've turned 32 to 16 bit, but How do I change the resolution of the Arcade VGA because in the windows settings this is the lowest the choose from? The bit weren't helping because I still have the same problem
-
indeed no problem, should I downsize it to 16 bit and a other resolution?
