I downloaded both files as you suggested to patch and remove the disclaimers, and I am having the same problem with keyboard, without the patch the games play fine, I have tested various games and all use the standard mame keys and so on, but after the patch, it seems near impossible to choose a game or enter the config menu from mame, like the keyboard is messed up, sorry its early as spent a lot of time late last night trying to see if it was me! Thanks for any help

I have never come across this problem within Windows, I have used Optipac and also im currently using the Happ 3" USB/PS2 trackball and works within MAME32, and GAMEEX, I would have thought if the trackball/mouse works within windows enviroment, then should work within GameEx, and you need to set the mouse for input within MAME32, well at least that is what I did, DOS is another story and glad I moved away for it

Here are 3 MAME cabinets I have created, originally using MALA, but since I found Game Ex, then wont use anything but, Arcade Classics is running a P4 3.2Ghz with 1GB, PC monitor, as the cabinet was a bare shell originally, this was my first MAME cabinet, then came the 25" Arcade Monitor version with 3" GT trackball, and a 2.6Ghz P4, and I have just finished another one, this time again was an empty shell, so used a 2.4Ghz P4, and an old 21" PC monitor, this was again uses a 3" GT USB trackball, it runs Game Ex, MAME, Daphne, Zinc (wish I could sort out the key config!) and my youngest fav game Tiger Woods 2007! Hope you like the pics, they are not all the finished items, more 95% finished Thanks and can I say what a great site & programs, Keep up the Splendid work!!!
