Hi, I changed my CPU over 3 months ago, much faster system, took the time to reinstall and configure everything. However the new system which is a much faster system can't manage some games. The only difference is it windows 7 not Xp, as that was what was installed when I got it. There are no other programs running on startup just gamex, I've even created a batch.exe file that launches mame with high priority, which helped, but some games just won't run at full speed. For example mk1 and mk2 fine mk3 and above stutter, tekken 1 can be hit and miss. Any tips? I don't want to have to uninstall everything and go back to Xp and configure again.

Hi, I recently had to change the motherboard over in my machine everything is working fine, except when I start up the machine rather than launching into gamex like it did previously it iis stuck on the taskbar. I have to grab the mouse from the back of the machine and click on it. Any ideas on how to fix this annoying problem. There is nothing else that starts on startup except the Internet connection. Help appreciated Chris

Further more, I have all the correct paths and everything working its just gone missing? I was previously running command line Mame 0.146, But changed over to plus. Now if I try to use Mame 0.146 the associated menu is still missing? Confused. I've rebooted ect. My next step is to reinstall unless someone has an answer. Chris

Hi, For some reason, dont ask me how or why, when I open gamex I have lost the Mame selection on the menu? I'm running Mame32 plus, but the its just disappeared. Any ideas how to get it back. Its the same no matter what theme i have selected. Any help appreciated. Chris

Tom, Your program is great I have an old Bas arcade machine which I have converted in to a mame and jukebox using gameex. Was wondering if it is possible to make it compatible with a spotify subscription or similar. Chris
