how to play >.FLV

hello. I need to know how to make gameex play my .FLV format game videos. right now I have it playing .mpg the thing is I also use another front-end system wich uses .flv for videos. so right now I have created a list of videos in .flv and in .mpg I dont want this. I just want to have .flv so both front-end systems use them.

I downloaded and intalled the latest FFDshow but now what? gameex still isn't playing those .flv videos.

I think they will work if you rename them to .avi, but I'm not sure. Tom looked at this a while back, but I'm not sure why it doesn't work for you.

thats just it, i dont want to change them cause then my other front-end wont use them. I need them to be .FLV if possible

I use the vista codec pack found at http://shark007.net/ (on xp), and my flv's play just fine in all of my frontends. I just uninstalled my current codec pack and installed these instead. hope it helps.
