instant sheller .5 no sound in emulator

Hi

when i try to use instant sheller .5 it boots up but when

i get into mame or anyother emulator i have no sound at all

when i launch a game the game has no sound either.

It tries to play the sound and you hear it cut in and out and the volume is really low or non existant.

When i cancel the sheller the sound works great

any help would be appreciated

Can you run the emulator correctly from the command line when the machine is shelled? Try running the same command line that doesn't work from shelled GameEx after killing the GameEx process and again from windows with no shelling. I can explain more if that isn't obvious.

Well Id press CTRL+ALT+DEL run EXPLORER.exe from the taskmanager.

Goto controlpanel / sounds and verify the volume is turned up.

Perhaps since Explorer isnt loading up it's hindering some 3rd pary app that controls your sound volume.

The sound works when i play my intro movie

once i choose any emulator the sound does not work or is very low

even my emuvideos have no sound as they play in the background

the volume is set to high and works when i turn the sheller off

i have realtek running my sound drivers

i tried what was suggested and still no luck

Can you post your gameex.ini?
