Intellivision Nostalgia Emulator - starts in GUI

Hi, now I'm trying to get the Intellivision emulator, Nostalgia, to work in Gameex. I see all the games listed on the Gameex menu, but when i select a game I get the message "unable to load ROM from file". I am able to load the games without a problem when I select them directly from Nostalgia. I have the correct game path in Gameex.

Here is the emulator config:

Sorry, my problem is not that the Intellivision emulator starts in the GUI, but that it will not load the roms as per my previous description. I'm confusing my problems.

Thanks,

Looks like there is a problem with the config.

Try changing the following:

Command=nostalgia.exe "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"
WaitBeforeKeys=500
SendKeys=%(~)

I'm not sure if the SendKeys is necessary so let us know if it is or not. Thanks to Adultery for this info here (I'm sorry mate I must have forgot to update it!)

Just my opinion on this emulator & my experience with it:

Not a very good emulator,I had numerous rom and screen size issues.Also had controller issues when mapping the numerical keypad to a keyboard.also there are a few games it does not play

ended up ditching it for bliss.havent looked back

From the post it looks like the SendKeys is for Handy not Nostalgia. But the command-line seems correct. User forgot the backslash (\) character.

Thanks so much. That did the trick. I changed the command line and the "WaitBeforeKeys" line as you suggested. Perfect.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will have to try BLISS out. Nostalgia is a bit quirky for sure.

Bliss is also my suggested emulator. I have a list of emulators that I suggest in the link of my signature. It needs some updating but gives an idea of what I find to be the best suggested emulator for that system. It's info I've collected from years of experience as well as recommendations from emulation sites and the emulation community.

So is this issue resolved?

+1 for Bliss. Nostalgia doesn't handle the GROM games well either. Bliss runs everything I throw at it. :)
