[RESOLVED] GameEx config?

Hmmm been hearing this talk of accessing GameEx setup wizard from within GamEx, but can't seem to find out how to do it. I would imagine there should be a enable/disable feature that I'm overlooking. I'm using Draco's Sins of a Solar Empire theme if that matters at all. I've been using GameEx a long time and still sometimes the easiest things I just can't seem to find (old age is a beyach!)

Theme shouldn't matter. First, are you using custom menus or "vanilla" GameEx menus? If the latter, open Setup Wizard outside of GameEx (since you cannot access it within), go to Custom, select Enable/Disable Features, then select Enable Configuration App, next until complete, close, then Start GameEx.

If using Custom Menus, then you will need to assign Configuration Application to whatever item you have setup for this function.

I found it under Enable/Disable, but I'm not using any custom menus and I still don't see where the Setup Wizard Config under GameEx is at?

hmmmm gonna have to research this a bit more tonight.

From the Main menu it's located in More Games & Programs >>> Configuration.

Nope it's not there, but shouldn't it be under the Applications menu or on the front menu more so as I for one don't want it where all my emu's and games are located.

I searched under all menus and it's nowhere to be found Draco that is why I made reference to possibly the theme related or not. But like you said that shouldn't have anything to do with it.

I disabled my custom menus,loaded Sins of a Solar Empire, clicked on "More Games & Programs" and it shows within that menu under "Configuration," If you are not seeing that, then there is something non-Vanilla with your setup. You must have a cherry swirl or perhaps Neopolitan? Please confirm that it is Enabled if you are not seeing it. May be time for you to give up a copy of your gameex.ini file for us to look a little closer.
