How to disable going back to GameEx

When running sdltrs within GameEx and soon as I hit the 0 key it exits back to gameEx more or less pauses sdltrs and exits to GameEx. How do I disable this from happening? (I fogot how this was done as I know I saw it posted somewhere, but forgot)
